Day 2 of the Blast.tv Paris Major Legends Stage took place on the 14th of May 2023. 2 teams have already secured their ticket to the big stage, while 2 others face elimination.

The  Mid Matches were BO1s, while the High and Low Matches were BO3.

Round 3 High Matches:

Game 1: Heroic vs Team Liquid

Heroic were the first team to make it to the Champions Stage, as they managed to beat Team Liquid 2-1 in their series. First map was Inferno, where Heroic had a terrific start. They managed to end the first half 11-4 on their CT-side. Liquid managed to fight back in the second half, but Heroic soon ended the map at 16-11.

Map 2 took us to Mirage, where Liquid managed to bounce back. They had a strong CT as well as T-side. NAF even managed to get a quick Ace in round 7. Heroic did try to push back, but Liquid were the better side, as they won the map 16-11.

Final map of the day was Ancient. Both teams looked evenly matched as they fought desperately for that Champions spot. But in the end, Heroic managed to take the map and the series at 16-12.

Game 2: Monte vs Vitality

Vitality continue their amazing form as they manage to clinch the second spot of Champions against Monte at 2-0. First map was Anubis, where both teams looked quite evenly matched in the beginning. But Vitality had a terrific T-side to give them the map win at 16-10.

Second map was Nuke, where Vitality were a bit more dominant. They ended the first half 10-5. Monte did manage to fight back, bringing their score up to 13, but Vitality ended it there and won the map 16-13.

Round 3 Mid Matches:

Natus Vincere, GamerLegion, Into the Breach, and Apeks all managed to win their Mid Matches against Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fnatic, ENCE, and Bad News Eagles respectively. B1t even managed to sneak in an Ace. The winners of the Mid Matches stand at 2-1, and will face off against each other in the Round 4 High Matches. The Losers on the other hand, will have to fight for survival in the Major in the Round 4 Low Matches.

Round 3 Low Matches:

Game 1: 9INE vs Faze Clan

9INE were the first team to be eliminated from the Legends Stage, as Faze Clan took the win 2-0 in the series. First map was Inferno, where Faze completely dominated the T-side. They ended the first half 11-4. The second half seemed more competitive, but Faze shut down 9INE, and took the win 16-10.

Moving on to Anubis, it was a similar story. Faze had a very dominant first half, ending it at 13-2. Monte did try to fight back on their own CT-side, but it wasn’t enough, as Faze took the win 16-8.

Game 2: Furia vs G2 Esports

G2 managed to survive elimination, as they beat the Brazilians 2-0 for one more shot at the title. G2 had a dominant start on Inferno, where they ended the first half 11-4 on their T-side. Furia managed only 4 more rounds, as G2 managed to take the map 16-8.

Map 2 was Mirage, where Furia had a decent start, but G2 completely took over, ending the first half 11-4. Again, Furia were unable to fight back, as they managed only 3 rounds in the second half, before G2 took the win 16-7, after a 1v2 clutch by m0NESY.

9INE and Furia have been eliminated from the Blast.tv Paris Major 2023.

Another Early Exit, Same Old Story: Team Falcons Are Running Out Of Excuses

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project. Hand someone from 2022 their current roster sheet — NiKo, m0NESY, TeSeS, Kyxsan, kyosuke, all under the tutelage of five-time Major-winning coach Zonic — and they would confidently declare this team the undisputed best in the world. And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
