Round 3 of the Blast R6 Copenhagen Major ended on 1st of May 2023. All of the High and Mid matches were BO1, and the Low Matches were BO3. 2 teams advanced into the Final Stage, while 2 others face heartbreak and elimination.

Round 3 High Matches

Game 1: VirtusPro vs Faze

Fighting it out on Bank, Faze Clan had the upper hand, as they beat VirtusPro 7:5. Faze had a better start on the map on the attack side, and managed to carry this momentum throughout the game.

Game 2: Soniqs vs w7m

The Bulls remain undefeated as they managed to beat Soniqs in a grueling matchup on Border 8-7. Neither team seemed to have the upper hand in the game. w7m did manage to get to Map Point first, but Soniqs equalized, pushing the game into Overtime. Neither team refused to give up, but finally the Bulls came out ahead, and won the game.

Faze Clan and w7m have made their way to the Final Stage Playoff Bracket.

Round 3 Mid Matches

Game 1: SZ vs Dplus

SZ managed to save themselves from fighting for elimination one more time, as they won against the Koreans 7-2 on Kafe Dostoyevsky. Dplus had a poor defense side, managing to clinch out only 2 rounds. Contrasting SZ, whose defense couldn’t be penetrated at all.

Game 2: Wolves vs SSG

Wolves came out swinging and dominating, as they beat the former SI winning org 7-0 on Oregon. A flawless game for the Wolves, they did not drop a single round on their defense, and had to win only one round on their attack to achieve this result.

Game 3: DarkZero vs NIP

NIP had little trouble beating DarkZero. The former SI winners won 7-4 on Kafe Dostoyevsky. NIP started off strong on their defense side. DZ managed to shake things up a bit mid-game, but it was nothing too difficult for NIP as they took the map win off of a 3 round win streak on their attack side.

Game 4: Liquid vs G2

G2 had a relatively easy time against the Brazilians, as they won on Borer 7-3. Even though Liquid were underperforming, NESKWGA put in all that he could, even managing to secure the match MVP. but it was not enough as G2 were too much for them to handle.

Round 3 Low Matches

Game 1: MNM vs REVEN

First heartbreak of the night comes for REVEN ECLUB, as they get eliminated by MNM at 2-0 in the series. Both teams had a lot to lose, and fought like it as well. But the Marshmallows were just too much for REVEN, as both maps Clubhouse and Oregon ended 7-4 and 7-2 respectively, eliminating the need for a third map and REVEN.

Game 2: M80 vs Falcons

Another 2-0 heartbreak, M80 took the win over Falcons to give themselves one more shot. Falcons had the upper hand on Theme Park, but M80 managed to push the game into Overtime, and not concede a single round. They had a 5 round win streak to win the map 8-6. Clubhouse went much easier for M80, as they had a comfortable 7-3 victory.

REVEN and Falcons have been eliminated from the Blast R6 Copenhagen Major.

Round 4

The winners from the Low and Mid Matches, along with the losers from the High Matches will have another go in Round 4.
