Playoffs are set: Blast R6 Copenhagen Major Groups Stage Recap

The Play-in stage of the Blast R6 Copenhagen Major has come to an end. And a total of 8 teams have qualified to the Playoffs stage. These 8 teams will face off against the 8 already present, bringing the total up to 16.

These 16 teams will face each other in a Swiss bracket, with all games being BO1, while elimination matches will be BO3. The top 8 teams from the playoffs will advance to the Finals Stage.

Group A: 

It was Team Falcons who came out on top of Group A, after beating teams MNM Gaming and Sandbox Gaming. Even though MNM got dropped into the lower bracket by Falcons, they did manage to clinch the Lower Bracket spot after beating Fury and Sandbox Gaming.

Team Falcons and MNM Gaming have advanced in the Playoffs stage.

Group B:

Spacestation Gaming took the first qualifying spot from Group B after managing to beat Elevate and Six Karma. In the Lower Bracket, Ninjas in Pyjamas had an unbeaten run. They won both games 2-0 against Elevate and Six Karma to take the Lower Bracket qualifying spot.

SSG and NIP progress on to the Playoffs Stage.

Group C:

The top spot for Group C was taken by Soniqs as they beat Lavega and REVEN ECLUB in the Upper Bracket. Neither Northeption nor Lavega could take the Lower Bracket qualifying spot, as they were beaten to it by REVEN. Beating Northeption 2-1 in the Lower Bracket Finals, REVEN managed to qualify to the Playoffs Stage.

Soniqs and REVEN ECLUB have advanced into the Playoffs Stage.

Group D:

W7m  managed to take the qualifying spot for Group D, as they beat Team Bliss and Wolves Esports. In the Lower Bracket, it was the Wolves who managed to clinch the final qualifying spot, as they managed to beat Varrel 2-0.

W7m and Wolves Esports took the final 2 spots for the Playoffs Stage.

The Playoffs Stage:

Team Falcons, MNM, SSG, NIP, Soniqs, REVEN, w7m and Wolves will be joining M80, DarkZero, Dplus, Liquid, Faze, Scarz, Virtus Pro and G2 in the Playoffs Stage of the Blast R6 Copenhagen Major. The Playoffs Stage will take place in a 5 Round Swiss Bracket.
