The Semi Finals of the Blast Premier Spring Finals have come to an end, and we have our two Grand Finalists.

Game 1: G2 Esports vs Team Vitality

Vitality were too much to handle for G2, as the Golden Hornets took the win at 2-1 in the series.

Vitality removed Ancient

G2 removed Overpass

Vitality picked Anubis

G2 picked Inferno

Vitality removed Vertigo

G2 removed Mirage

Nuke was left over

Map 1: Anubis

Vitality had a decent opening on Anubis. Managing to take 3 rounds right off the bat, the Golden Hornets took an early lead. G2, however, were unrelenting, and managed to bring themselves up to 7 to end the first half 8-7. G2 then proceeded to show off a near perfect T-side. Only allowing Vitality win 3 rounds in the second half, Hooxi and co. closed out the map at 16-11.

Map 2: Inferno

The former Major winners did not take kindly to this loss, as they completely dominated Inferno. Vitality had a complete chokehold on the map in the first half. The Golden Hornets had a massive 12 round win streak, only dropping rounds at the beginning and end, to end the first half 12-3. However, G2 were not ready to go down without a fight. They did manage to claw back in the second half, but it was nowhere enough. Vitality got the 4 rounds they needed, and put G2 out of their misery at 16-9.

Map 3: Nuke

Final map of the series was Nuke, where G2 had quite a decent start. Managing to keep Vitality on their toes, they ended the first half 8-7. However, Vitality had a stellar CT-side once again, just like in Inferno. Only allowing G2 to take 4 rounds in between, the Golden Hornets came out on top, as they won the map 16-12.

Team Vitality moved on to the Grand Finals of the Blast Premier Spring Finals.

Game 2: Heroic vs Imperial Esports

Heroic proved to be the better team in this match up, as they managed to beat Imperial 2-1 in the series.

Imperial removed Anubis

Heroic removed Vertigo

Imperial picked Overpass

Heroic picked Inferno

Imperial removed Mirage

Heroic removed Ancient

Nuke was left over

Map 1: Overpass

Both teams were quite evenly matched on Overpass. Although Imperial had a better start to the map, it was Heroic who managed to take the lead, as they ended the first half 8-7. The second half was also very even between the two teams. Heroic managed to get themselves to 13, and Imperial equalized. But then Heroic pulled off a 3 round win streak to take the map 16-13.

Map 2: Inferno

Imperial returned the favor on Inferno. The South American side had a decent start, managing to take 5 rounds right off the bat. However, Heroic answered right back with a 7 round streak of their own to end the half 8-7 in their favor. Heroic continued this momentum, as they managed to take 3 rounds right off the bat in the second half. But then Imperial had a stellar 9 round win streak on their CT-side to take the map 16-11.

Map 3: Nuke

Final map of the day was Nuke, which turned out to be a very CT-sided affair. Heroic had a near perfect start on their CT-side, as they managed to end the first half 11-4. However, Imperial returned the favor, and had a stellar CT-side of their own. Also managing to end the half 11-4, Imperial pushed the map into Overtime. However, they could not make the most of it, as Heroic won 4 out of the 6 rounds in Overtime to take the map 19-17.

Heroic have advanced onto the Grand Finals of the Blast Premier Spring Finals.
