YEAR 2022

Between a new map, three new agents, and countless updates and changes, Valorant has gone through a seismic shift this past year. The community has steadily grown and evolved into one of the most experimental and passionate communities in the gaming community. In 2022, Valorant has become of the most popular multiplayer titles according to Twitch views this year, and a thriving, developing esports scene that will see rapid changes and developments as well over the next coming months. There is a lot to look forward to in 2023.

That said, while looking ahead is exciting, taking a look back over the year 2022 can deliver a different thrill. Game Developer Riot Games has made it a point to release personalized Valorant recaps known as Flashbacks in 2022.

These Flashbacks will feature stats such total headshots, damage dealt, agent playtimes, map winrates and so forth. The Flashbacks will likely be reminiscent of the Year One Recaps Riot released in the summer of 2021, celebrating a full year since Valorant’s launch.

The Year One Recaps included stats like total matches won, KDA ratio, total damage done, etc. This year, Riot also released a tool for creating personalized badged ahead of the anticipated Recap. The personalized badges can be designed per agent and includes the K/D, win rate and highest rank achieved per agent.
