As previously hinted by Bai “369” Jia-Hao himself, today, Top Esports have officially announced and confirmed the return of 369 to the roster.

The returning 369 will replace Huang "Wayward" Ren-Xing on the LPL roster, after the top laner's departure was announced yesterday.

Top Esports 2024 LPL Starting Lineup:

The Worlds 2023 defeat played a huge part in 369's decision to return to Top Esports, where he started his professional journey. The move also reunites 369 with JackeyLove, the two played together under the Top Esports banner in 2020-21.

Together, they placed second at the LPL Spring 2020, won the Mid-season cup 2020, the LPL Summer 2020 and placed 3rd-4th at Worlds 2020. They struggled in 2021, which led to 369 leaving for JD Gaming for the 2022 season.

Since 369's departure, Top Esports struggled to stay on the top. They did place second in both the LPL 2022 splits, but performed below expectations internationally. In 2023, they failed to qualify for any International event and missed out on Worlds 2023 after losing to Weibo Gaming in the LPL Regional Finals 2023.

After the season concluded, the team's mid laner, Song "Rookie" Eui-jin left the Chinese side along with Coach Luo "Crescent" Sheng. Top Esports thereafter welcomed Creme and Despa1r as their replacements and have since confirmed Tian re-signing for the LPL 2024 season.

With 369's signing today, Top Esports only needs to confirm JackeyLove and Mark in order to complete the LPL 2024 roster.
