In a strategic move aimed at nurturing young talent and building a new generation of champions, Vitality has announced the addition of Shahar "flameZ" Shushan to their roster, replacing Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen. The French organization expressed gratitude to dupreeh for his contributions and warmly welcomed the Israeli prodigy, who joined the team on a free transfer following the conclusion of his contract with OG.

The Past:

dupreeh's tenure with the active roster comes to a close after an impressive year and a half. During his time, he played a pivotal role in securing three titles for the team. Including ESL Pro League Season 16, IEM Rio, and the recent BLAST.tv Paris Major. Notably, the Paris victory marked a milestone for dupreeh, as he became the player with the most Major victories. Having won five Majors with Astralis before.

The Present:

While expressing his respect for Vitality's decision, dupreeh conveyed his disagreement with the move. He stated, "I don't feel we had reached the end of the road with the current team, but I respect Vitality's decision and wish them all the best." Looking ahead, he expressed his desire to join a new team and pursue his sixth Major victory at the upcoming PGL CS2 Major, set to be held in Copenhagen.

"I still feel I am at the top of my game and will spend my holidays exploring what the next chapter of my life should be. Winning the sixth Major in my hometown next year would be fantastic, but it won't be easy. I need to find a team and an organization that share my ambition, professionalism, and dedication to achieve this goal," added dupreeh.

Vitality's current lineup now consists of:

Dan "apEX" Madesclaire from France

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut from France

Emil "Magisk" Reif from Denmark

Lotan "Spinx" Giladi from Israel

Shahar "flameZ" Shushan from Israel

The team is led by coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen from Denmark.

While Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen has been benched for the time being.

The Future:

flameZ joins Vitality as one of the most promising talents during the ongoing tournament break. Several top teams were reportedly interested in the former OG star. But ultimately, he has reunited with his compatriot and former Aequus and Tikitakan teammate, Lotan "Spinx" Giladi. Now in the world's current number one squad.

Vitality's decision to bring flameZ on board reflects their clear direction of building a new generation of champions. The organization aims to cultivate fresh talents and strategies that will keep their team at the forefront of the Counter-Strike scene.
