Fnatic again won the pistol round in the second half. However, this time they could only extend their lead to 1 more round. Which put them onto Map Point. FUT tried to halt them as they took 3 rounds straight. But Fnatic put the game to rest at 13-5.

Map 2: Haven

Fnatic again had an explosive start on Haven. They managed to win 4 rounds right off the bat. But FUT fought back. Winning 7 out of the 8 remaining rounds, they managed to turn it around at the end of the first half at 7-5.

But Fnatic had a much better showing on the Defense side. Only allowing FUT to take 2 rounds in the half, Fnatic won out the map at 13-9. Off the back of a 4 round win streak.

Fnatic have advanced into the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals. While FUT Esports have been eliminated from VALORANT Champions 2023.

Game 2: Bilibili Gaming vs EDward Gaming

Map 2: Split

BLG fought back on Split. Managing to one-up EDG on their own map pick, they showed off a terrific first half. They won the pistol, and steadily built momentum to end the half at 8-4.

However, EDG refused to go down without a fight. Showing off similar prowess on their Defense side, EDG gave out only 4 rounds. As BLG managed to get onto Map Point, EDG won out the final round to push the map into Overtime.

BLG managed to dominate this Overtime series, as they won 3 out of 4 rounds to win the map at 15-13.

Map 3: Haven

BLG had a strong start on Haven. They managed to win 4 rounds right off the bat. But EDG answered right back as they won the 4 rounds after. It was back and forth between the two teams. They looked inseparable, as the first half ended at 6-6.

However, EDG managed to find their groove on their Attacking side. They won 4 rounds right off the bat in the second half. BLG tried to fight back, as they managed to claw back 4 rounds. But EGD were relentless, as they closed out the map at 13-10.

EDG stave off elimination, as they move ahead into the next round. Meanwhile, BiliBili Gaming’s Champions journey has been put to an end.
