Gen.G beat kt Rolster 2-1, and T1 won 2-1 against Hanwha Life Esports on June 9, the third match day of Week 1 of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Summer Split at LOL Park in Seoul, South Korea.

KT Rolster (1-1) opened up their series against Gen.G (1-0) with a 20-3 win in 24:02 in Game 1. KT top laner Kim "Kiin" Gi-in went 8/2/5 on Jax, led in kills, and earned Player of the Game honors; jungler Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan picked up a 2/1/15 Sejuani score; mid laner Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong finished 3/0/11 on Annie; and bot laner Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram and support Son "Lehends" Si-woo were 7/0/7 on Aphelios and 0/0/15 on Nautilus. Hanwha Life Esports (0-2) won 14-7 against T1 (1-0) in a 44:08-long Game 1. HLE mid laner Kim "ZEKA" Geon-woo picked his signature Ahri and finished 4/0/8 on the pick; jungler Kim "Clid" Tae-min controlled the game on his 5/3/5 Vi; and bot laner Park "Viper" Do-hyeon and support Kim "Life" Jeong-min finished 5/2/6 and 0/1/12 on Aphelios and Lulu.
