Earlier today, The Korean T1 Valorant squad announced the changes to the roster. After a year together, the T1 has decided to let go of Munchkin, Ban and iNTRO. The three players displayed immense talent while on the squad. While the team struggled with inconsistencies, they had some great moments throughout the year. The team together secured third place finish at the VCT Pacific playoffs and attended both the international tournaments. While they did not have a strong international showing, they still did amazing as the first year team.

Replacing these will be iZu, K1ng and Xccurate. iZu is an upcoming Duelist who started his Valorant career in 2022. The young 18yo spent 2023 playing in the VCL Japan for Jadeite. iZu was one of the best players in the region and will be a strong addition to the squad.

Joining iZu is K1ng, one of the best sentinels and site anchors in the Pacific , if not the world. Recently, k1ng was part of the GenG squad. Despite the team not standing up to everyone’s expectations, k1ng was the silver lining for the squad.

The final member joining T1 will be the returning Xccurate. The legendary CS:GO AWPER will be making his return to professional Valorant. The Elder Susanto previously subbed for the Indonesian team Persija Esports in 2022. Prior to that, he played with Indonesian squad XCN and VVV back in 2021. With both the Susanto siblings on the T1 teams, we will see the clash of them on the main stage.

With the new additions, the T1 VCT 2024 squad is as follows:

  • Son “Xeta” Seon-Ho
  • Ha “Sayaplayer” Jung-woo
  • Lee “Carpe” Jae-Hyeok
  • Lee “k1ng” Seung-won
  • Ham "iZu" Woo-ju
  • Kevin "Xccurate" Susanto
  • Yoon “Autumn” Eu-Teum (Head Coach)
  • Lee “CheongGak” Il-ho (Coach)
