The TI 12 Qualifiers are starting soon! The teams partaking in the TI 12 qualifiers will fight with all their might to secure a seat at the upcoming International 2023. With different regions having different numbers of slots for the tournament, here are the favourites who will likely make it out of the qualifiers to represent their region at one of the most prestigious tournaments in esports.

North America

Nouns

One is the emerging teams from the North American Region is Nouns. Usually, Shopify Rebellion and TSM dominate the NA region, but recently, Nouns has been stepping up their game, challenging these titans. In the Summer Tour, Nouns even took TSM’s ticket to The Bali Major, where they got eliminated early.

Nevertheless, the team proved they have what it takes to secure a seat at the upcoming TI. Moreover, with Héctor "K1" Rodríguez recently joining the team, Nouns more than triple their chances of securing the only slot given to the region.

B8

Region swapping has immensely worked in B8’s favour. Although the team did not attend any Major this season, B8 successfully maintained their Division I NA slot. However, recently, many controversies surrounded the team, including their Dota 2 poster boy, Dendi. Nevertheless, with the newest addition to the team, Dendi has a shot at going to The Internationals again.

South America

South America is the region that has recently been on the rise. In the upcoming TI, the SA region is given two slots through the qualifiers.

Thunder Awaken

Thunder Awaken is one of the teams to keep an eye out for in the region. The team carried the pride of the SA region in the recent TI, securing a 5th-6th place finish. They also secured multiple top-three finishes in the 2022-2023 DPC Season.

Infinity

Formerly known as Hokori, Infinity the roster contains promising talent in the SA region. The organisation signed the Hokori roster before the start of the qualifiers. They recently finished fourth in their region at the Summer Tour.

AcatSuki

AcatSuki is the former Infinity roster. The team contain veteran players like Sergio "Prada" Orihuela and Leonardo "Leostyle-" Sifuentes. However, they had mixed results throughout the DPC region, barely managing to keep their Division I slot.

Eastern Europe

Despite Western European’s dominance in the 2022-2023 DPC Season, Eastern European teams have stood their ground.

Natus Vincere ( NAVI)

It’s been a long time since Navi had been to The Internationals. The team had disappointing results in the past, but the current iteration of Navi is showing tremendous promise. The team went undefeated and topped the Division II groups in the Summer Tour. The current iteration of NAVI consists of upcoming talents from the Easter Europe region, like Abdimalik "Malik" Sailau.

Virtus Pro

Virtus Pro are the favourites to qualify through the qualifiers. The team showed consistent improvements in their DPC 2022-2023 Season. They recently added Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov to their roster. The player is a well-known safelaner, notorious for his marvellous plays in the EEU region.

Nemiga Gaming

Nemiga Gaming didn’t have a fantastic 2022-2023 Season. However, the team is showing signs of promise at the BetBoom Dacha Tournament with their newest addition to the team, Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian. Despite making a deep run at the BetBoom Tournament qualifiers, Nigma Galaxy defeated them in the grand finals.
