LEC broadcaster Marc Robert "Caedrel" Lamont will be taking his leave from the broadcast talent team of the LEC. He will be moving to being a full-time streamer.

Caedrel announced his departure after the LoL Esports X account posted the official English Broadcast Talent for the 2023 Worlds Championships. Unfortunately for the broadcast team, Caedrel will not be joining the official team for Worlds 2023.

Additionally, they released the list of content streamers that will be co-streaming all of Worlds. Caedrel is on that list as he frequently casts and streams professional LoL games on his Twitch channel. This is only when he is not scheduled to be on air.

Now that Caedrel has left the broadcast for LEC and Worlds 2023, he will be able to focus on his individual content creation. It is worth noting that he is one of the highest followed and viewed Twitch streamer in the LoL category. It is highly likely fans of Caedrel and fans of the pro scene will be able to receive more content surrounding LoL events.

Worlds 2023 kicks off on October 9th, 2023, with BDS vs. Golden Guardians!
