Day 2 of Lima Major: Match recap, Standings and More
Day 2 of the Lima Major still had some difficulties with their production. While the audio of remote analysts had no issues, the on-site talent still struggled. Fans were also upset about some video lag during games but stayed anyway to support their teams. This did not stop the games from being less than exciting. Let's take a quick recap of a few games that happened yesterday.
Shopify Rebellion Vs. Entity
Game 1
The start of the game was even for both teams. Post laning phase SR was able to rack up some kills for themselves. All the while, "watson" was farming up his Aghanims on Slark. At the 24-minute mark, SR smoke ganked into the Radiant mid-lane. This is where everything turned in the favor of Entity. "Abed" and "SabeRLight-" jumped on Entity but got caught in Dark Seer's Vacuum into Wall combo. While this happened, "Kataomi`" on his signature Treant Protector got a 3-man Overgrowth in the backlines. Ultimately giving "watson" time to freely jump on whomever he wanted, killing Drow first. It all went downhill for SR from here.
Game 2
SR made a comeback in game 2. "Arteezy" on Chaos Knight played aggressively in his lane. Forcing rotations since the 5-minute mark from Entity, SR took the bottom tower pre-9 minutes. This allowed them to freely push mid and top followed by early pick-offs into the enemy jungle. Even though Entity had Ursa, it was SR to take Roshan 17 mins into the game. After another team fights, they ended the game in 20 minutes.
PSG.LGD Vs Team Spirit
This series resulted in a draw. While LGD dominated at the start of the first game, Spirit made a comeback. By rushing aghanims on Nature's Prophet, they caught LGD off-guard into a 3-man Clockwerk Cogs. From here "Yatoro" took the reigns and dominated the rest of the game. He played Morphling a second time in this series but did not get the same result. Disruptor's Static Storm into Naga Siren's damage output was too much of a threat.

Can Chinese Dota keep up?
China is believed to be one of the strongest regions in the Dota2 scene. But their current state at the Lima Major says otherwise. All four teams that qualified from China are in the bottom 3. They are not able to keep up with the fast-paced aggressiveness of their opponents. PSG.LGD and Aster have a fighting chance, but we cannot say the same for EHOME and Knights. Unless these teams match the pace of their enemies, this region might not make it to the main stage.

Western EU leads the way !!
After day 2 of the Lima Major ending, Europe seems to be leading the group stage. With Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators winning 3 series, they take the no.1 spot in their groups. Currently, they seem unstoppable, but with 3 days of matches left, you never know.
