Day Two Match Results
Disguised vs MAD Lions [2-0]
Convincing victory for Disguised, who managed to bounce back after a rough loss to The Guard in their debut week. MAD Lions looked utterly out-called and lost in parts of the series as DSG continued to pile on meticulous executions. If they continue this trend, top 4 may not be such a pipe dream for them, even in the Group of Death.
Especial shoutout has to be given to Drake “exalt” Branly and Amgalan “Genghsta” Nemekhbayar for their exceptional performances last night. A multitude of swing rounds that could have allowed MAD back into the game were shut down by the heroics of these two especially.
Strafe Player of Series: DSG Exalt
M80 vs TSM [2-0]
M80 continue their streak of Valorant perfection as they 2-0 crowd favorites TSM. An early start for M80 was challenged by TSM biting back with seven rounds. Down 8-11, M80 mounted a comeback that led into a nail-biting 14-12 OT win. A stellar map from both teams.
However, on Ascent, it looked as if TSM ran out of gas, as M80 asserted their dominance and closed out a quick second map against them. In-Game Leader Alexander “Zander” Dituri led both the team and on the scoreboard with a 40/28/27 scoreline. Meanwhile, the star power of GianFranco “koalanoob” Potestio continues to shine for the rising roster.
Strafe Player of the Series: M80 Zander
