Caitlyn Joins 2XKO Roster in Season 1 Launch on All Platforms

Caitlyn is joining the 2XKO roster as part of the Season 1 launch, bringing the total playable character count to twelve.

Release Details

The new 2XKO character becomes available on January 20–21, 2026, depending on region, across PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. She slots in alongside Vi, Jinx, Warwick, Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo, Blitzcrank, Braum, Illaoi, Darius and Teemo for the full launch lineup.

Caitlyn 2XKO Gameplay Overview

Caitlyn is designed as a long-range fighter focused on controlling space and punishing mistakes. Her abilities from League of Legends have been adapted for 2XKO’s 2v2 format:

Bola (formerly 90 Caliber Net): A mobility and spacing tool
Enticing Trap (formerly Yordle Snap Trap): Cupcake-themed traps that pin opponents for follow-up combos
Piltover Peacemaker: Integrated into combo routes for high-damage rifle blasts
Ace in the Hole: Her super ability, allowing her to line up shots at various angles, including aerial targets

She can roll under projectiles, cross to the opposite side of opponents, and air-dash to adjust her positioning and rifle angles. A brief Hextech shield provides protection while setting up traps or aiming her super.

How to Unlock Caitlyn in 2XKO

Caitlyn can be obtained in 2XKO through a Champion Recruitment Event starting on launch day. Players complete dedicated missions to unlock her at no cost. Alternative unlock methods include the Ultra Battle Pass or a Champ Token for those who prefer not to complete the event.
