BetBoom Dacha has had some fantastic Dota2 games. Since the release of the new update, fans are eager to see the kind of meta these pro teams will bring out. Putting on a show just before The International 2023, Gaimin Gladiators are as dominant as ever.

The BetBoom Dacha is also a practice run for teams to adapt and strategize ahead of TI. On the last day of the tournament, three teams remain: Team Secret, TSM, and GG. Let's take a look back and see what went down.

Group Stage

The tournament kicked off with 8 teams split into 2 groups, round-robin style.

Group A

  • Team Secret
  • TSM
  • EG
  • BetBoom Team

The teams in Group A were equally matched, without only BetBoom failing to win a series. This led to two rounds of Tie-breakers. The second round was a 1v1 Mid Shadow Fiend, which was interesting to watch. With SumaiL representing Secret, he beat Bryle & Chris Luck and carried Secret to the Upper Bracket of the playoffs.

Group B

  • Gaimin Gladiators
  • Beastcoast
  • 9Pandas
  • Nigma Galaxy

Gaimin Gladiators wasted no time in climbing to the top of their group. They won 5 out of 6 games, losing only to Nigma Galaxy, which was unexpected. Beastcoast and 9Pandas had to go through tie-breakers to decide the last Upper Bracket spot, which Beastcoast won.

With Betboom Team and Nigma Galaxy out of the tournament, EG and 9Pandas moved to the Lower Bracket while the others competed in the Upper Bracket.

BetBoom Dacha Playoffs

Team Secret and Gaimin Gladiators won their series against Beastcoast and TSM with Sven drafts and qualified for the Upper Bracket finals. However, this time, Secret could not make the same move with the Gladiators. Dyrachyo dominated the series against Team Secret and carried his team to the Grand Finals.

Lower Bracket

Beastcoast and TSM dropped to the Lower Bracket to face off against EG and 9Pandas. Beastcoast defeated their brothers from SA after a long 2-1 series. On the other hand, TSM had no trouble eliminating 9Pandas, which was the last of the Eastern EU teams. They went on to beat Beastcoast with two quick 20-minute games and qualified for the Lower Bracket finals against Team Secret.

Upcoming Matches

The final day of the Betboom Dacha starts with Team Secret vs. TSM at 10:00 a.m. CET. The winner of this match will move to the Grand Finals to face the Gladiators in a BO5. While it is most likely that the Gladiators will win, if Team Secret or TSM can put a dent in the scoreboard, they may be able to crack the code to GG's success.
