VCT Challengers League DACH Evolution Split 1 Kicks off Today

The Challenger Leagues are already underway around the world. Multiple regions are hosting Open Qualifiers for teams to play on the main stage of the challenger league. The group stage for the Challengers League DACH Evolution split one will kick off tomorrow. The DACH region covers Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The DACH evolution features no Open qualifier but eight teams directly qualifying for the Group stage.

VCT Challengers League DACH evolution format:

Like all the Challenger Leagues worldwide, The DACH Evolution will feature two splits. Each split will feature a round-robin group stage play and a playoff stage. For DACH evolution, a total of Eight teams are part of the Group Stage. Every team in the group will play every other team once, which means every team will play seven matches. The Group stage will feature a total of 34 matches between the team. At the end of the Group stage, the top 4 teams will qualify for the Split 1 playoffs.

The playoffs will be a double-elimination bracket with a single winner. The teams will play for the Circuit points, which will help them qualify for the EMEA ascension tournament. Only one team will qualify for the Ascension tournament, and only one team from across Europe will qualify for the VCT EMEA from Ascension.

VCT Challengers League DACH evolution schedule:

The Challengers league split one will start tomorrow and conclude on March 12 with the Split 1 playoffs. The second split will commence after a short break.

The schedule for the DACH evolution Split-1 will be as follows:

• Group Stage January 14 - February 15

• • • Two matches every Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
    • The timing for matches will be 5:00 PM CET and 7:00 PM CET

• Playoffs February 18 - March 13

• • February 18 05:00 PM CET - Upper Semifinals 1
  • February 19 05:00 PM CET - Upper Semifinals 2
  • February 25 05:00 PM CET - Lower Round 1
  • February 26 05:00 PM CET - Upper Finals
  • March 11 05:00 PM CET - Lower Finals
  • March 12 05:00 PM CET - Grand Finals
