Kwangdong Freecs won 2-0 against DRX, and Nongshim RedForce won 2-1 against OKSavingsBank BRION on June 8, the second match day of Week 2 of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Summer Split at LOL Park in Seoul, South Korea.

Kwangdong Freecs won Game 1 against OKSavingsBank BRION in 42:49 by a 19-16 score. KDF top laner Lee "DuDu" Dong-ju finished 9/1/7 on K'Sante and earned Player of the Game honors, and jungler Ko "YoungJae" Yeong-jae went 5/2/11 as Volibear. In the loss, DRX jungler Kim "Croco" Dong-beom went 5/3/8 on Kha'Zix, while bot laner Park "Paduck" Seok-hyeon debuted in the LCK with a 8/6/6 Aphelios performance. Kwangdong Freecs swept DRX 2-0 with a 29-minute-long Game 2 win that they led 13-5 in kills.
