On March 23rd, FlyQuest announced a new addition to their talent lineup, popular League of Legends personality Nick “LS” De Cesare. “LS” will be joining FlyQuest under the title of Content Creator.

After alleged months of deliberations, FlyQuest and LS finally released a video confirming the popular personality’s addition to their ‘green’ roster. In the video, “LS” spoke especially on his choice and reasonings for joining FlyQuest, including his personal motivations as well.

He also assured that his new signing would not affect his content, and if he had to still criticize their LCS rosters’ draft, he would.

Aligned with FlyQuest’s Brand

As “LS” spoke on his decision to join FlyQuest, he touched on the reputation Fly has generated within the League space, with notes on how they are perceived as one of the most ‘positive’ brands, with strong emphasis placed on subjects like mental health.

In the video, “LS” shed some light on the mental issues and burnout he’s endured for a number of years now, and how the search for professional help has aided him in slowly coming back. It has also helped him come to terms with his illness (Nick was diagnosed with autism and revealed it about a month ago).

As he continues on the road to recovery, he currently looks at FlyQuest as a great extension of his support system that will allow him to become more empowered. His confidence that thing ‘will get progressively better’ is also reassuring to see.

Massive Brand Addition

For FlyQuest’s part, however, they have just added one of the largest and most influential League of Legends personalities to their roster of talent, with a massive portfolio under his belt and a wealth of experience as both a content creator and more importantly, a coach.

Just prior to joining Fly, the 29-year-old was streaming professional League of Legends games, primarily for the LCK, LEC, and LCS. As previously mentioned, “LS” has undertaken the coaching role for a number of notable organizations including Tempo Storm, Gravity, and most infamously Cloud9. His dismissal from Cloud9 was the subject of controversy in 2022 surrounding the circumstances.

Whilst not many of his coaching stints have lasted terribly long, it is something to be said that he has managed to find a coaching role in 10 different organizations across three regions; Europe, NA, and Korea.

He has also worked as a content creator, most notably for Korean giant T1 for a year. During his time on stream, he would often express his opinions on the drafts and games he co-streamed. A vocal member of the League community, he has never been shy to call out teams, plays or rosters as he deems necessary.

Last but not least, “LS” has worked on the broadcasting side of professional LoL as well, with some of his most notable castings being in the LCK 2020 Spring Playoffs and Worlds 2020. He was a massive part of the LCK talent lineup and is extremely well connected within the League scene.
