The content king Tarik “tarik” Celik has paired up with the Mogul Moves streamer Ludwig Ahgren for an early preview of things to come. The pair is already slated to host an OFF//SEASON tournament in January, but first, they had to iron out some of the kinks. Introducing the Lil Bro Cup, featuring 20 Valorant stars (pro players and content creators).

Announced by Sentinels on the 29th of Nov, the tournament was sponsored by GrubHub and featured 20 Valorant Stars across 4 teams. In their tweet, Sentinels captioned: 20 Valorant star. 2 questionable hosts. 1 tournament to decide everything. Announcing the Lil Bro Cup.

The four teams featured were: Team Subroza, Team Rossy, Team Zander, and Team BcJ. The teams competed on the 5th of Dec for a total prize pool of $10,000 USD. That said, Team Subroza emerged victorious in the late evening as the victor, taking home $7000 USD.

On announcing the winners on twitter, “tarik” expressed thanks to his co-host as well as observers “sapphiRe” and “prius.” He also hinted during and after his hosting stint that the tournament could become a more frequent event, expressing a desire to ‘run it back with better production.’

Team Subroza Wins Lil Bro Cup


The Lil Bro Cup featured a Bo3 format, with a total of four matches: 2 semi-final matches, 1 finals match, and one Bo1 consolation match. Team Rossy took on Team Zander, winning 2-0 while Team BcJ took on Team Subroza, finishing 1-2.

While Team Rossy and Team Subroza geared up for finals, the consolation match took place. Bringing back an old favorite with Split, it was a closely contested Bo1 between both teams. Ultimately, Team Zander took it 13-11, with incredible plays from Zachary “zekken” Patrone especially, on the Raze.

In the finals, Team Subroza clean swept Team Rossy on Ascent and Fracture, winning 2-0. After the tournament, “BabyJ” wrote: In case ya’ll forgot, I still got it. Shoutout to my teammates for carrying me in the finals. This kid “iiTzTimmy is good at every game he plays.

For his part, “iiTzTimmy” earned the accolade of tournament MVP for his superb performance across the series. Despite his status of content creator, “iiTzTimmy” has consistently been one of the most mechanically skilled individuals in North America at FPS titles.
