Starting 13th February, VCT LOCK//IN will kick off the three premier VCT Leagues. The LOCK//IN event in São Paulo, Brazil, will feature 30 partnered teams and 2 invited Chinese representatives for a total of 32 teams. It is the introductory tournament for the thirty partnered teams and previews what's to come. You can read about the VCT LOCK//IN Format, Teams, Fixtures, and Schedule here.

With ten days for the Live event to start, let's count down with attendee team introductions. Starting with the top contenders for the title, the teams that have the best chance to win.

The Korean Dragons - DRX:

Starting with DRX, the strongest Korean Valorant team since the inception of Valorant. DRX was one of the best teams in VCT 2022 season. Featuring Stax, MaKo, BuZz, Rb, and Zest, the team made deep, impactful runs throughout the 2022 season.

Keeping the original squad and adding Foxy9 to the roster increased the roster's potential. The team will only get stronger from the previous year. Going into the tournament, DRX has the least to figure out. They have the highest chance of winning. They will be looking to make a statement at the VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo 2023.

The Clowns of Chaos - Fnatic:

Fnatic has always looked better post a roster change and going into the 2023 season, Fnatic added Gambit star Chronicle and Guild's Clutch Master Leo to the roster.

The team already featured stars in Alfajer and Derke under the leadership of Boaster. With Leo and Chronicle, Fnatic will be a powerhouse for the rest of the 2023 season. On paper, Fnatic has all the bases covered, and they will be coming to São Paulo to leave a lasting impression on the Valorant World.

An Odyssey of Victory - Natus Vincere:

With their new roster, Natus Vincere will be making the top of yet another Esport. Featuring ex-FPX core in ANGE1, Shao, Suygetsu, and Zyppan and adding the Awp talent of cNED, the NaVi roster bolsters immense Firepower. With cNED's Op'ing talent, the roster will be all set for 2023.

With cNED exactly fitting NaVi's requirements, Natus Vincere does seem to be playing with the same squad. The team must surely work on communication and synergy, but they will come out guns blazing at the VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo.

The Unchained Titans - NRG:

Featuring the core of the best Valorant team in 2022, NRG features the Optic core in FNS, Crashies, and Victor with Coach Chet. With one of the best Operators in Ardiis and NRG's best-performing player in s0M, NRG has the brains and Brauns to dominate VCT LOCK//IN, São Paulo.

Despite missing Marved and Yay, NRG got the best replacement for the missing pieces in ANGE1 and s0M. For most Valorant pundits, NRG is the top team for VCT Americas and Worldwide. VCT LOCK//IN will be their chance to prove how strong they are.
