On day 10 of the Blast Premier Spring Groups, NIP took on Astralis, and NaVi went head-to-head with Complexity.

Game 1: NIP vs Astralis

Map 1 was Overpass, picked by Astralis. NIP had a dominant first half at 11-4, with Aleksib getting a 4k on the pistol. Headtr1ck had a stellar showing in the half, with 18 kills. Second pistol round again went the way of NIP. But Astralis had a show of dominance themselves, winning 7 rounds in a row. But that is all we got from the Danish side, as NIP managed to beat them 16-11. Headtr1ck and Rez get 25 kills each, but it is the latter who tops the table with a 1.60 rating.

NIP picked Mirage for Map 2. However, Astralis seemed to have found their footing, as they had a very dominant first half at 12-4. NIP only managed to claw back 3 rounds in the second half, but Astralis took the map 16-7. BlameF topped the table with 27 kills and a 1.82 rating. Dev1ce has shown a consistent form with 20 kills.

Ancient was the decider, where REZ started the map off with an unbelievable pistol 4k. Both teams were quite evenly matched in the first half, but Astralis took the lead 8-7 on their T side. Astralis showed very good form in the second half, winning 7 rounds in a row to reach Map Point. Even though NIP managed to claw back one more round, Astralis ended it at 16-10. BlameF topped the table again with 26 kills.

Game 2: NaVi vs Complexity

Complexity picked Anubis for Map 1. Both teams traded rounds with each other, with Complexity taking the half 8-7.. The second half started off well for Complexity, but NaVi had a dominating 7 round streak to push themselves to 14. Complexity managed another 3 rounds after that to tie it 14-14. But NaVi took the map 16-14. B1t topped the table with 26 kills, but it was hallzerk who had the most AWP kills at 10.

NaVi picked Inferno for Map 2. Both teams again looked evenly matched, in the first half, as Complexity took the half 8-7. Complexity had a nice run on their T side, bringing their lead up to 14. NaVi tried to bring a few of their own, but Complexity shut it down with a fantastic eco round, as they won the map 16-11. Even though JT had a poor showing on this map, Grim did a bulk of the carry with 30 kills.

We go to Overpass yet again as the deciding map. S1mple and electronic start off their T side with an explosive pistol round. Complexity was the better team in this half, however, as they took the half 9-6. Second half starts well for Complexity as Grim secures a 13th round for them with a tremendous Ace. However, Complexity only managed to get one more round after that, as NaVi had a dominant run, winning 8 rounds in a row to take the map 16-14. S1mple shows everyone why he’s the goat, with 31 kills, 12 AWP kills, and a 1.49 rating.

NaVi  advance to the Spring Finals, while Complexity will join their North American brethren at the Spring Showdown.
