How Wanderluck works
Wanderluck is a mystery box site where you open boxes built for a real trip or getaway. In my experience, the trips you unbox on the site are real reservations booked in your name. You don't need to redeem them as a voucher or resale code. To start, simply pick a box that matches the type of trip you want. It could be a romantic getaway, beach reset, or a long weekend trip.
Wanderluck uses a credit system called Coins to open these boxes. Coins come from bonuses and promotions, but you can also buy Coin packages on the site (completely optional).
Each box at Wanderluck contains travel-related items, such as trips, gift cards, luggage, travel gear, and accessories.

Interestingly, the box I opened contained other amounts, up to 250 Coins, but I was only able to pull 10 Coins from it. Each Coin-pull probability was displayed beside the amount. I also got a 7-day streak bonus after signing up. Each day I opened a box during my first seven days on the site, I received a free box.
In my experience, when you reach streak day 3, you'll activate another welcome bonus. But remember, you must not miss a day, as it'll reset your streak.

Wanderluck offers a daily game where you guess the price of a place or thing to get a free box. For instance, on the first day, I guessed the price of a hotel room and got a Bronze box since my guess wasn't close enough.
If you guess the correct amount, you'll get a Platinum box. Collectors who make a reasonable guess get a Silver box, while if your guess falls close to the correct price, you'll get a Gold box.
When I opened my Bronze box, I discovered that it contained items like a JBL earbud, a smartwatch, an Apple Watch band, a faux leather journal, a coin purse, a projector with a Bluetooth speaker, a game, and Coins. Each item has the probability of being pulled displayed on the side. I got 0.095 Coins after opening the free Bronze box.

According to what I observed at Wanderluck, the site plans to introduce mystery box battles. Once available, all you need to do is compete with others, open the same box, and collect the highest reward.

I used Visa to buy Coin packages and received the virtual currency within a few minutes. Wanderluck didn't charge me for the transaction, but your chosen payment provider may collect a small fee.
You need to redeem your pulled items before requesting shipping. But before then, you have to complete account verification. Your item will likely arrive within 3 to 30 days after requesting shipping, according to the information on the site’s terms of service page.
Wanderluck's website is highly functional and mobile-optimized
The first thing that attracted me to the Wanderluck website was how clean and minimalist it looked. At the top of the page, you'll find pages like Unboxing (which contains all mystery boxes), Battles, Deals, and Rewards. Your Coin balance is also displayed there.
Below it, you'll find your VIP level, daily rewards, and daily games. The homepage features popular mystery boxes and information on how the site works, including valuable FAQs and their answers. In the website footer, you'll also find relevant pages like the FAQ, help center, social media pages, terms of service, and privacy policy page.
The Wanderluck website is highly functional and easy to use. Pages loaded quickly, making box opening seamless. I didn't find a dedicated mobile app on the site or the mobile app stores. Unsurprisingly, the absence of a native app didn't lower the Wanderluck ratings I saw online, as most collectors applauded how seamless the website was.

I was a bit disappointed when I didn't see a live chat button at Wanderluck. Hopefully, the mystery box brand will introduce it soon. If you want to reach the site, you need to send an email.
When I sent an email for more clarification on redeeming an item for shipping, it took almost 24 hours before I received a response. Wanderluck is a new mystery box site. With time, the customer support will likely improve.
