Underdog Rips has no promotions right now - this means no sign-up offer, no Underdog Rips promo code, and no VIP program. But this awesome card ripping service just launched, so Iām not concerned.
Below, I look at Underdog Rips and its potential for promotions going forward. Iāll discuss potential features I expect it will add, while also giving you some basic info about the 5 tiers of sports trading card packs you can rip. Iāll also explain how you can get signed up here so you can rip packs yourself.

The first thing I do when signing up for a new card rip site is to check for a sign-up offer - this is what I did in my Slabz bonus review, for example. Iāve had plenty of experience with these sites, and you can usually expect something like a free pack, a deposit match bonus, or a risk-free pack. Itās not normally a massive bonus, but most sites at least give you a little something to start with.
However, Underdog Rips doesnāt do this. I had a moment of disappointment when I found this out, but it quickly faded away for two reasons.
Firstly, I remembered that this section of the Underdog app is only a few days old - thereās loads of time for stuff like this to be added. Secondly, as youāll see below, I soon got sidetracked anyway, salivating over their epic range of sports packs and the actual pack-ripping service they offered more than made up for the lack of a welcome bonus.
Although this Underdog Rips review has started a little underwhelming, I still recommend the brand, and if you do want to get signed up to start ripping packs, or be prepared for when a welcome bonus drops, you can do so by following these steps:
Click my Underdog Rips banners.
Click the Sign Up button.
Enter your personal details.
Accept the site T&Cs.
Verify your email.
Log in to your new account.
There is a desktop version of the Underdog Rips service, but I recommend downloading the iOS or Android app. Iāve stuck with the Android app, and I think it gives a far more satisfying pack-ripping experience.
So, thereās no Underdog Rips bonus code for new customers, but what about existing player promos? Nothing! I spent ages trawling through the app, just like I did in my Gemint bonus guide, and drew a blank. At the moment, thereās no VIP program, no progression or rewards, and no recurring weekly bonuses or free packs.
Itās pretty much a blank slate in terms of promotions, and this is the main area that Underdog Rips needs to improve if it wants to compete with other top pack rip brands. As Iāve said above, though, letās give the app the chance to grow. Itās safe to say that promotions and bonus features will come in the future.
Why? You only have to look at the other Underdog products, such as its DFS pickāem competitions. This section of the app has a boatload of promotions and bonuses, including a sign-up offer for new customers and recurring bonuses for existing users. I believe that in no time at all there will be a similar set of Underdog Rips promotions to rival those of its DFS product.
Ultimately, the lack of Underdog Rips promotions was but a minor inconvenience for me. Sure, Iād love some extra value, but what I was more interested in was the packs themselves and the ripping process. And this is where I think Underdog Rips shines.
I wonāt give a full breakdown, but below Iāll share the 3-step process I went through with their packs so you can get an idea of how the site works and how Underdog Rips promotions might be used in the future.
Pick one of the 5 pack tiers.
Underdog Rips currently has 5 packs - $5, $10, $25, $1,000, and $2,500. Within each pack, thereās a potential pool of physical NBA, MLB, and NFL trading cards that you can pull. The cards are either authenticated RAW versions or have been graded by an official organization like PSA and BGS.
For each of the pack types, there are tiers of rarity and value that you can pull - the more expensive the pack is, the higher the maximum potential FMV of the cards you can pull.
I personally stuck with the $25 packs - I didnāt fancy going all in and dropping a stack on the packs yet, and $25 to me felt like a good middle ground.
Buy and rip your pack.
Once youāve made your choice, itās a case of buying the pack and ripping it! You can either deposit money into your account balance, or make a direct payment using one of the methods I mentioned earlier. I stuck with a Visa debit card so I could use my Google Pay setup - Iāve never had any problems with payments, and the packs were always added to my account instantly.
The ripping process looks awesome - they use a fun cartoon-style animation that reveals the card youāve pulled. I loved it!
Choose what to do with your slab.
So, youāve opened your pack, and hopefully youāve revealed an awesome card like a 2018 Panini Josh Allen Kaboom or some mega Steph Curry rookie card. You now have several options:
I did a little bit of option 1 and 3 - there were some baseball cards, for example, that I simply didnāt care about, so I sold them back to Underdog Rips for 100% of their FMV. However, there were also some Lakers NBA trading cards that I fancied keeping, so I waited until I had around 10 cards and got them shipped to my home address.
Weāve got nothing right now, but I want to be positive and look to the future and anticipate what Underdog Rips promotions could be added. So, using what Iāve learned from my other pack-ripping experiences, such as the Mnstr bonus I got, I think itās realistic that the following could come in time:
There is already an Underdog signup bonus for their DFS section, and itās a pretty damn good one. Because of that, I fully expect there to be an Underdog Rips promo code for new customers in time. Based on the other card rips bonuses Iāve had, this could be a free pack, a risk-free pack, or a deposit bonus. I donāt expect it will be huge, but maybe something around the $10-25 value in total.
Virtually all mystery box and card rip sites Iāve used have either a VIP program or rewards scheme. It seems to be one of the more popular features. For example, in my Openthatpack bonus guide, I found a reward scheme where you get points for each pack you rip. I think Underdog Rips might add something like this.
Usually, itās a tiered progression system where you get points for buying and opening packs, or even for selling items back to the operator. Then, as you hit different rewards/VIP tiers, there will be things like free packs. Iād love it if Underdog Rips had a feature like this, as it rewards loyalty and gives you something extra to aim for.
Many operators Iāve used over the last few months also have auctions and/or a secondary marketplace. Iām not as bothered about these features, but they can give you more things to do and the potential to snag some awesome sports trading card deals. Iām not sure what route Underdog Rips will take, but extra features like this can only be a good thing.
To recap - there are no Underdog Rips promotions, but I think that in no time, we can start talking about the awesome bonus features itās added. The brand itself has a track record of having some epic promos - you only have to look at the Underdog DFS section to see this. So I donāt see any reason why the Rips product wonāt do the same.
Until that happens, though, youāve already got a solid product and an amazing range of packs to rip. I personally like the $25 sports pack the best, and Iāve had some brilliant LA Lakers cards from them so far.
If you want to get involved and see what rare NBA, MLB, and NFL cards you can pull, feel free to click any of the Underdog Rips banners Iāve got here and get signed up now.
Nope! Nothing like that at all. You can deposit money, though, to buy packs. I was able to pay using MasterCard, Visa, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Venmo, and from what I can see, they have a secure payment gateway.
Not yet! Right now, I saw no Underdog Rips promotions. The siteās new, though, so I reckon a rewards scheme and other features like a sign-up bonus will come soon.
They do both US and International shipping. The lead time depends on which secure vault your card is stored at, and overall you can expect to wait between 1-3 weeks for delivery of your slabs/cards.
