Is there a TiltRips welcome bonus?
I have to start with bad news: when I created this TiltRips promo code guide, there wasnāt ANY type of signup bonus or welcome offer. I wasnāt too disappointed though, as Iāve been testing a lot of these sites recently, and Iād estimate that around 50% of them do exactly the same. Still, a free pack wouldāve been a nice token gesture at least, and I hope they implement something like this in the future.

As I mentioned in my main TiltRips review, although thereās not a welcome bonus, the site does have a multitude of other interesting features, which include leaderboards, a referral program, and a VIP Concierge system.
Leaderboards - for bragging rights only
I noticed that TiltRips has an overall leaderboard which is a pretty cool feature. It works on a points system, and you accumulate points in the following ways:
- 10 points for every $1 spent ripping packs.
- 10 points for every $1 you receive when selling cards back.
Now, I didnāt expect to be one of the top collectors anytime soon, as at the time I wrote this TiltRips promo code guide, the top spot had 28.95 million points! But, itās fun to see who is at the top, and you can also browse their showcases to see what awesome PokĆ©mon cards they have.
In terms of functionality, I did NOT see any actual benefit to the leaderboard except bragging rights - there doesnāt seem to be any leaderboard races or recurring rewards for having one of the top leaderboard spots.
Refer & earn - get your friends involved for free packs
I think that my favorite feature at TiltRips in terms of promotions is easily the referral program. It uses a commission-based system, with set rewards based on the packs that you referrals rip.
It works just like any other program:
- Log in to your TiltRips account.
- Open the Refer & Earn dashboard.
- Copy your TiltRips promo code or link.
- Give the code or link to your friends.
- Your friend signs up using your unique identifier.
- You get a bonus when your friend rips a pack.
Itās that easy! Now, in addition to this, TiltRips actually has a two-tier bonus system. The first tier of potential bonuses you get comes when your direct referrals rip packs. However, you can also get bonuses if your referrals refer other people and THEY rip packs - this is known as the 2nd tier referral bonus. I love this theory as it basically means you can potentially get referral bonuses for doing virtually nothing!
From what I can see, there is no limit to the number of people you can refer, and the set referral bonus you can get for the different pack types are as follows:

These are brilliant referral bonuses, and TiltRips makes everything easy to manage with the quality of the referral dashboard. Itās really geared for you to maximize your potential bonuses and gives you a heap of different tools you can use. You can track your referrals, create specialized campaigns, and see detailed summaries of your lifetime bonuses.
VIP Concierge - for the master collectors
Instead of a VIP program, TiltRips does something different - its VIP Concierge feature. Now, full disclosure here - this is ONLY for mega collectors, as thereās a $2.5 million lifetime pack rip minimum requirement to even get eligibility for it! I guess, though, when you consider cumulative pack rips and buyback offers over time, itās not out of the realm of possibility.
Secondary marketplace - try and snag PokƩmon deals
I know this isnāt strictly a promotional feature, but I still think itās worth talking about. An additional thing that TiltRips offers is a secondary marketplace where you can sell any of the cards you donāt want from your pack rips (if you didnāt accept their 90% buyback offer). There are loads of items for sale, and I spent A LOT of time browsing the different cards and seeing if there were any bargains to be had.
The marketplace offers plenty of search options and filters, and I think theyāve done a great job of making it accessible and giving you the tools to quickly find the cards you might be interested in buying. Lastly, thereās a āRecent Salesā feed which shows the latest transactions on the marketplace which I like.
It looks like this card break site will also operate limited-time ripping events, which it calls promotional races. For example, I saw that a promotional race called the Weekend Warrior had only just finished a week before I wrote this guide.
In this event, you basically competed by ripping packs and selling your cards, and there were different categories of potential prizes. These included the Highest Total Spend, Most Packs Opened, Most Valid Referrals, and Highest Multiplier. From what I could see, you would basically get free packs or cash prizes for winning any of these categories, so these events are definitely something to watch out for in the future.

A quick introduction to the packs at TiltRips
Thatās all the TiltRips promotions for now, and I want to finish by giving potential new customers an introduction to the site and how it works. This operator currently provides a large range of different PokĆ©mon packs that you can rip, with some examples including:
- Mini - $10.
- Starter - $25.
- Premium - $50.
- Heritage - $500.
Each pack has a set pool of potential PokƩmon cards that you can pull. These cards are split into different tiers based on their rarity and value, and each tier has a set percentage chance of being pulled. For example, the Premium pack using the conservative volatility offers the following tiers:
- Tier 1 - $32.50 to $50 - 79.49%.
- Tier 2 - $50-$150 - 20.11%
- Tier 3 - $150-$500 - 0.32%
- Tier 4 - $500-$800 - 0.07%
I mentioned conservative volatility - this is important because you can also change the volatility of the packs to suit your risk tolerance. For instance, you could also rip Premium packs with a speculative volatility, which would give you more chance at pulling rarer cards, but also lower the floor value of what you could potentially get.
I love the system they have, and I think from a quality, variety, and design perspective alone, itās one of the better card break sites available. Once youāve ripped a pack, you can sell the card back to TiltRip for 90% of the market value if you donāt want it, you can also try and sell it on their P2P marketplace, or if you love it, you can have it shipped to an address of your choice, and TiltRips offers both US and international shipping.
So, what did I think of the TiltRip promotions and would I recommend the site? Well, I canāt ignore the lack of a signup bonus, and this is something they could improve pretty easily - even a low-value free pack or something similar would be cool. BUT, I do maintain that the other features such as the referral program, marketplace, and VIP Concierge system make up for that.
The referral scheme especially is one of the better ones youāll find and I really like the two-tier referral system where you can get a referral bonus from your referralās referrals! With all these things considered, yes I would recommend TiltRips and I will continue to rip packs here! Not right now. There isnāt a TiltRips welcome bonus, and none of the other features except the referral program use a TiltRips promo code. This might change in time though, and I do hope that they add some type of welcome bonus in the future.
