Let’s start by looking at how Slabz works and the inner mechanisms of its card ripping setup, just like I did with my

How pack ripping works at Slabz
Slabz offers Pokemon, One Piece, and Sports packs that you can rip. Each pack has a pool of potential cards, and when you open one, you get a single graded card. The cards are graded by recognized companies like PS, CGC, and BGS. With that card you have three options:
- Sell the card back to Slabz for up to 85% of its FMZ.
- Keep the card in your personal digital vault.
- Have the physical card delivered to your address.
I was happy to see full transparency for all the Slabz packs, including the value ranges and the potential percentages of pulling cards from the different tiers.
Getting your cards shipped from Slabz
Slabz offers both US and worldwide shipping for any card you rip from the packs. There are shipping fees, but these vary depending on your location, and the size of your order. Pro tip here - do not get single cards shipped, but instead, wait until you have a decent amount (I usually get deliveries in batches of 10 cards), as this can help save on your shipping costs.

After going through the transparency and setup of the packs, I looked at a few other core Slabz features including its security processes, banking, and support - everything was as expected, although there was a noticeable lack of support options. So, is Slabz legit? Yes, but we’ll also give you the rundown on the site’s security features and more so you can decide for yourself.
Security
Slabz does all the basics for security - SSL encryption backed by a valid certificate, a secure payment getaway for both fiat and crypto methods, and documentation relating to its terms and conditions and privacy policy. For the registration process, they use a simpler but secure method that is becoming more common - you don’t technically register an account, but simply login each time. However, you have to do 2FA email verification by entering a code each time you use your Slazb login.
Crypto and fiat payment options
I was able to pay directly at Slabz using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank card - I like this method as you can store your fiat payment option to quickly make purchases, as opposed to continually depositing funds into your account first before buying packs.
Alternatively, crypto payments are supported in USDC (USD Coin). There’s the option to link your external crypto wallet, or you can make direct payments with their USDC Solana wallet address.
I tried Google Pay and connected my Coinbase wallet and both worked smoothly - my payments were processed instantly, and there were no transaction fees charged by Dlabz.
Customer support
This is an area I felt needed improving as after creating my Slabz login I was only able to find a random info support email via the terms and conditions - there didn’t seem to be a specific customer support email, I couldn’t see a live chat, and there was no support page. This needs improving as unless you are willing to join their Discord server, there really isn’t a concrete way to get in touch with anyone.

I was especially impressed with their pack variety, and Slabz has a comparable selection, featuring Pokemon, One Piece, and Sports packs to rip. The prices range from $25 up to $5,000, with each pack having a set pool of potential cards, and a four-tier rarity system - each tier has a percentage chance of being pulled, and a value range:
- Common - usually a 75%-80% chance.
- Rare - usually a 15-20% chance.
- Epic - a 4% chance.
- Legendary - 4% chance.
Typically speaking, if you rip anything that’s rare or above, then you have broken even on the cost of your pack. I checked out the legendary tiers for the different pack types and saw some desirable cards such as:
- 2011 Lugia Holo PSA 10 - $250,000.
- 2003 Charizard Skyridge Holo PSA 10 - $105,000.
- 2024 One Piece CHL Nami 1st Anniversary PSA 10 - $45,000.
- 2011 LeBron James Precious Metal Gems Blue BGS 8.5 - $9,773.
The Pokemon packs have the highest potential value, but I think that’s more due to the popularity of the TCG itself as opposed to what Slabz offers. I did also see some Michael Jordan PSA 10s that I would love to get my hands on as a basketball fan.

Goatbox review, I’ve noticed that Slabz may still be tinkering with its pack construction, so always check the contents for yourself too before making a purchase.

There’s a solid rewards program, but no welcome bonus
Unfortunately, they do not currently have a

for new sign ups. I wasn’t too disappointed with this - sure, a free pack or a deposit bonus would be nice, but for me, what is more important is the quality and variety of the packs themselves, and the ripping process, and I think Slabz more than makes up for it in these areas.
What I did find here was an extensive rewards program where you unlock free packs and tickets as you progress through the levels. Some examples of the potential rewards include:
- Bronze - 4% a free Pokemon 50 pack, 10% 120 tickets.
- Gold - 2% a free Pokemon 2500 pack.
- Platinum - 1% a free Pokemon 5000 pack.
I like this type of rewards system as it basically works like a type of rakeback feature, rewarding those who stay loyal to the brand and incentivizing them to engage with the site.
My final Slabz ratings - It’s only getting started
I had a lot of fun creating this Slabz review and I think it’s already one of the top card rip sites specifically for Pokemon. The pack selection, the price tiers, and the potential cards that you can pull are great for Pokemon collectors, and I also expect their One Piece and Sports sections to further develop in the future.
The customer support needs sorting out though, and once they get more established, a welcome offer would be a good addition.
