Runewager Casino Review & Ratings 2026 - Is it legit and safe to play?

For my Runewager review I also looked at the welcome bonus, although we have a complete Runewager promo review that delves into these features in more detail. The welcome bonus I got was 50,000 Fun Cash and 5 Sweeps Cash, but I have seen other Runewager reviews stating that they only got 10,000 Fun Cash and no Sweeps Cash.

Runewager highlights at glance

To get this, you simply have to register an account with the operator and you should get credited with those virtual currencies when you do your first Runewager login. Other promotions I saw include a daily login bonus, mail-in bonus, referral scheme, and rakeback system. And you don't need to enter a Runewager Casino promo code to get these bonuses.

I love the Runewager website and it’s definitely one of the better-developed sweepstakes casinos I’ve played at. The theme looks incredibly smart and I like how there are subtle references to Runescape such as the colors and the use of the default character skin as their main mascot.

You can easily navigate the site using the expandable left-hand menu and this has links to all the game categories, plus your account management features. Page speeds have always been quick when I’ve played here, and I’ve had no issues with the games or purchasing process. It’s just a well-designed website that has superb usability.

I couldn’t find a dedicated mobile app for Runewager but there is a mobile-responsive browser version of the website. I tested it using Chrome on my Samsung Galaxy s23 and it worked without any issues. You get the same smart layout and simple game navigation, and the page loading times were fantastic. I also found the slots and live dealer games that I tested, and features that tie into the Runescape game were well developed too.

Runewager does not accept real money deposits and you can’t play the casino games for real money. So, the signup package you get for free isn’t a Runewager Casino no deposit bonus, but rather a no purchase offer. Fun Coin purchases are available to boost your balance further, and from what I can see, the operator only accepts cryptocurrencies. The exact crypto you can use depends on your location and you may see a different list to me, but I was able to make transactions using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and several of the other main altcoins.

Due to the site's links with the Runescape games, you are also able to make purchases using your in-game Runescape currency which includes RS3 Gold, OSRS Gold, and Kinguin. I think this feature is fantastic as the in-game currency is something you can effectively gather simply by doing tasks or farming items that you sell on the in-game marketplace.

The only downside was that I wasn’t 100% sure if cash prize redemptions were available or not. From what I can see, you can definitely redeem your Sweeps Cash for in-game Runescape currency, but I couldn’t find any info on actual cash prize redemptions.

I always check for customer support options before I register at a sweepstakes casino so I know that I can get help if needed. For this operator, the primary support method is actually Discord. They have an active Discord server with 3,100+ active members that you can join. Once you have joined the Discord channel, you can then make direct support requests, speak to moderators, and get help from the community.

I use Discord often so I was comfortable doing this and I found the Runewager Discord channel to be incredibly useful. If you’re not really up on using Discord or don’t want to download a separate app to get support you can send an email to support@runewager.com. I tested this support method too and got a reply within 1.5 hours. The person who replied was able to help with my query and I was satisfied with the support received.

Lastly, there is a limited FAQ section too, which answers a range of basic questions relating to features like the currency, linking your Runescape account, and site problems. There isn’t a dedicated help center though and I think this area of the site could be improved.

Other Runewager reviews I’ve looked at mention the licensing and security of the site and I did my own testing. Firstly, Runewager doesn’t need a gambling license as it’s a sweepstakes casino and no real money transactions or gameplay is allowed here. However, it is compliant with US sweepstakes regulations by giving customers virtual currencies, making the games always available to play without the need for real money spending. From what I can see, Runewager is available to anyone over 18 except in the US, except residents of Washington.

For security, I checked the website and when I wrote this Runewager review, there was a valid SSL certificate. This means that industry-standard SSL encryption is used alongside a secure HTTPS connection. The site has a range of responsible social gaming tools including the option to self-exclude, plus a fairness report for their games, and a terms of service that details your contract when you use the site and register an account. Essentially, I have no reservations about reliability and cannot see the chance of a Runewager scam.

While creating my Runewager ratings I looked for a VIP club. I couldn’t find a specific club, but there is a VIP system and rakeback prizes that are essentially the same thing. You can get up to a 30% rakeback on your Sweeps Cash usage depending on your level and there are other perks such as wager races, rain drops, and level-up bonuses. The rakeback tiers are as follows:

Together with the other prizes and bonuses I think this is one of the best loyalty schemes I’ve seen, especially when compared to similar offers at other new sweepstakes casinos. It's a great way to help you manage your coin balance more effectively.
