How do Polymarket Squads Work?

So, these Squads sound great in theory. Of course they are: if you have a group of friends or you are involved in a community that enjoys trading, this is the perfect platform for you to join. But, how does a player go about setting up their own Squad? Well, our step by step guide below covers the entire process in depth:

1. Create or join a Squad - When you navigate to the Squads section, you will see the option of either creating or joining a squad. You can join any public squad at any time, but if you want to create a private squad for you and your friends, click create a squad.

2. Invite your friends - Next up, decide whether you want a public or private squad. Once you’ve made your decision, you’re ready to go if it’s public. If it’s private though, you will need to send invitations to your friends, by inputting their user tages into the invite box.

3. Browse and discuss prediction markets - Once your friends join, the entire Squads feature will open up to you. You will find the live chat off to the left of the screen, where you can discuss markets with your friends, while you continue to browse the prediction markets on Polymarket.

4. Share positions and Combos - At any point, when you are buying or selling a share, or a combo of shares, you can choose whether to make your trade private, or choose to share it with your Squad. If you choose to share it, all your Squad members can see your trade, and can choose to also buy/sell.

5. View other members activity - At any point, you will be able to also view any other members of your Squads activity. Just click back to the Squad hub, and click on one of your friends/Squad members to see what their recent activity is, even through your Polymarket App.

6. Choose to follow a share/trade - When you are viewing your friends activity, they can also choose to share certain trades or positions with you. You can also choose to follow your friends trades, by clicking the ‘follow’ button.

So, given all these features that are available with the Squads feature, what are the practical uses of joining one of these Squads, and engaging in this community trade concept? Well, here’s the primary benefits to using a feature like Squads:
