When I say that Onyx Odds has a mobile app, I actually mean there is a mobile-responsive version of the social picks system. For all intents and purposes though, it functions exactly like a true mobile app in terms of navigation and design - I recommend adding it to your browser favorites for quick access after you’ve completed the initial Onyx Odds register process.

For my Onyx Odds review I tested the customer support both in-app and on the website. The in-app support is lacking which contributed to a lower Onyx Odds rating. If you tap your profile icon and then hit “contact us” it will essentially send a “mail to” request and try to open your email manager (such as Gmail). This means you can’t even send an email support ticket directly in the app which is a let down.
The desktop website has no support options at all - there isn’t even a contact page and I couldn’t find a contact email anywhere. They do have links to their social media profiles on Instagram, X, and Facebook, but these are for contests and app news only - not for support. Now, from my Onyx Odds review you can see this app isn’t perfect. But, one thing it does get right is the sports markets and game coverage. You’ve got all the popular US leagues at both pro and college level and this includes the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAAB, and NCAAF. There are also plenty of markets for tennis, soccer, golf, UFC and other popular sports.
The emphasis is on the US leagues and I found decent coverage for the big four competitions. I love the scope of the social picks for each match too. For example, I made some social picks on an upcoming Cavs vs Hawks NBA game and I could have placed picks on things like individual player points, individual player 3-pointers made, and individual player rebounds.
There is of course the standard social picks you would expect including moneyline, spreads, line picks, and over/unders. There is the facility to make parlay picks too so you can add multiple selections to your slip.
As far as I could see when making this Onyx Odds review there isn’t any P2P element. I didn’t really find a large community aspect either if that’s your type of thing. They have some activity on social media, although I’ve seen other websites and apps who post far more frequently. I didn’t see any evidence of tournaments or leaderboards either.
