Prediction markets have been a buzzing topic, so as usual, I was having a conversation with other enthusiasts about it when someone raised the topic of new brands. That’s why I thought of making this OG.com prediction markets review.
In case you’re wondering where this new brand came from, it is a product of Crypto.com. There is much to unpack, from how it works to how to sign up and what to expect service-wise. I will go over everything I found in this review and also share my thoughts on the available trading options as you read on.
When I registered on the trading platform, I was able to claim a welcome offer without applying an OG.com promo code. You can claim it too, and the best part is that the sign-up bonus is a whopping $100 in trading funds. Claiming and using this promotion has been gamified in such a way that it serves as a reward for specific milestones. This is how it works:
You can only use this promotion within seven days after your KYC has been completed. This means that any qualifying trade must be settled within that timeline. Also, it only works for trades with no more than an 80% probability. Go to og.com for more information.
The OG.com website interface is one of the simplest I have encountered since I started interacting with prediction market platforms. It uses a black and orange color theme with random splashes of red and blue. At first glance, I noticed that the platform has a heavy focus on sports, esports, and video games, which is perfect since many competitors focus on other categories instead. There is no confusion on how to get around the website once you visit. The top row has buttons like live, trending, golf, hockey, and “more.” When you click on "more," it shows a dropdown of all the other supported categories on the platform.
Right below that, you see live updates on ongoing games, which helps you track how your trades are going in real time. They are arranged in a scrollable format so that you can choose what exactly you want to see at any point. That’s pretty much the whole interface; if you scroll down, you just see other categories and the available trades you can take advantage of. Oh, at the top right corner, you can find the option to build parlays, which is something I also haven’t seen on other prediction market sites. Other things like announcements, access to the app, and contacting customer support sit within a hamburger menu, also in the top-right corner.
Compared to my Fanatics prediction markets review, I would say that OG is designed to welcome both pro traders and beginners. The choice of color creates a calm that keeps you trading with ease. Even if they decided not to create an app, I think they already nailed access and usability in the best way possible.
So far, I have told you everything about how I use the platform, but I haven't really gone into how I created my account. The process is very simple, and if you've ever created an account on a prediction market site, it should feel very familiar. You do not need any extra documentation apart from a means of identification, which you will later use for KYC. If you have that in hand, you can follow these simple steps to create your account in a few minutes:
You definitely do not want to miss out on the welcome offer, which we have gone over. For that not to happen, you need to ensure that you create your account following the right link. So, you need to tap on any of the banners on this page to be redirected to the platform, and then you can proceed with the other steps.
On the website, if you look to the top right corner, you see the option to sign up. Click on that, and it will open an interface. Within this interface, you will find four options: you can either provide your email or use Google, Apple, or your crypto.com account. If you choose any of the other three, apart from your email, you'll be able to create your account within seconds without having to type anything manually. If you've used your email instead, you have to check your inbox for a verification link. Once you click on that, you'll be taken back to the site, and then you'll be able to use your account as a new trader.
Before you become eligible for the welcome bonus, you will need to have funded your account. I have shared steps on how to do this; all you have to do is go to the deposit section and then select any of the supported transaction methods and proceed to top up your balance.
OG.com offers two unique ways to play on mobile, and each works just like the desktop site. This appears to be the standard with many competitors because it was the same thing I noticed during my Kalshi review.
I started with the mobile website using a Safari browser, and it loaded in seconds. I got around just fine and was able to trade as much as I wanted without any glitches or freezes. I repeated the same process with my Chrome browser and even Opera. None of these had any problems loading the site or its features. A little note here is to ensure you have really good internet and that your browser is the most recent version. Without these, you might have issues using most prediction websites, but if that happens, it is not an OG.com problem.
Moving on, I thought to check out the app and luckily found one for iOS and another for Android. Considering OG.com is a new product, I commend their efforts to release an app as early as they did. It makes using their service easy for anyone who doesn’t really fancy a website. As for how you can get the applications, you will need to click on the hamburger menu at the top right corner of the website and select the "app" option.
This will open a barcode that you can scan to access the application. Alternatively, you can go to the App Store or Play Store and search for OG Predict. The applications function really well with no bugs and the same light features and interface as the website. At the time of my testing, there weren’t many OG.com app reviews on the app stores, and that makes sense since the brand still needs some time to pick up that momentum. However, there is nothing more to desire when it comes to using the OG prediction platform.
This is one of the most important areas because, as a US-facing platform that also attracts users from some other regions, there are some possible restrictions that can be associated with payments. Also, I already did a Polymarket review and got many payment options compared to what I noticed on similar platforms.
As such, I knew to keep an open mind here. I found a couple of accessible funding options, some of which have applicable fees and a few others that don’t. To sum things up, you can use select digital payment services, debit cards, and bank transfers. Like the fees, the transaction times can vary by method as well. These are some of the ones you will come across and the limits they come with:
| Payment method | Fees | Transaction times |
| ACH bank transfers | 0 fees | 3 to 5 business days |
| Debit cards | 1.49% | Instant |
| Apple Pay and Google Pay | 1.49% | Instant |
| PayPal and Venmo | 1.99% | Instant |
| Bank wire | 0 fees | 1 to 2 business days |
When it was time for me to make a withdrawal, I noticed that I could use a method called "Plaid." With that, I just had to link my bank account. Once I did the linking, I just proceeded with the regular withdrawal steps, and it was processed within 24 hours. Apart from the internal processing time, which I consider to be very swift, it took another three days for it to land in my account. But this is no fault of OG.com; it is just my bank’s usual processing time.
I did have a few issues while using the OG.com platform, especially when I was trying to figure out the payment bit. That was what prompted me to check out how the customer support department works, and I found a few ways to reach them. The first was the live chat option, which was impressive because they responded within a minute. The agent was very helpful, and I like that I didn’t have to rely on a bot to solve my issue.
There is also an email support option, which was very easy to use, and the agent was equally as helpful. I sent them a message around 12 noon, and they got back with a response in exactly two hours. One thing I noticed with both agents was how they broke things down easily and also referred me to their knowledge base. So, I ideally should have started with the information they provided on the platform rather than waiting for an agent to respond.
Among the different features that OG.com has, I like the part where you can easily sell your contracts if you see that things are not going your way. This helps you to cut losses, and it is one of the features that I have tried over and over again whenever I needed to secure part of my funds. If this is something you want to look into, you need to know that there is no guarantee that you will always sell a position at a favorable price. Also, some fees may apply.
Trading prediction markets involves risk and you may lose your capital. Past performance or hypothetical scenarios do not guarantee future results.
Before I was confident enough to create an account with OG.com, I had to confirm that it was operating legally in the US. That way, I wouldn’t have to worry about my data getting into the wrong hands or having any random trouble as I traded. So, I found that OG.com is a product of Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which is a CFTC-regulated exchange. This sets it apart from other platforms that currently operate in a legal grey area. Given the extensive scrutiny that prediction markets have faced, it is refreshing to find even new ones that have valid licenses that can easily be verified.
Prediction Trading is facilitated through Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). Foris DAX Inc. and Foris Inc. (d/b/a OG ) provide access to CDNA, a platform regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), allowing users to trade derivatives in accordance with CDNA’s rules and regulations.
Apart from the welcome bonus, I found that OG.com has a special loyalty program. I couldn’t become a member since membership is not automatic. However, you can get an invite, and when that happens, there are lots of perks that await. The good part is that you can request an invite via a form that’s available on the website. When you apply, they will then review your application based on your experience, weekly trading volume, and whether or not you have been a VIP somewhere else. Whatever they determine from all these checks will help them decide whether or not to send one. Obviously, if you have recorded high trading volumes within the week, you have a good chance of getting an invitation.
There are many prediction market platforms these days, and trust me when I say I have tried most of them. OG.com stands out in many ways despite being one of the youngest platforms on the scene. For one, they are owned and operated by a CFTC-licensed parent company, which means you are guaranteed safety. Also, they have focused on some of the most important markets such as sports, esports, and video games.
So far, I have had the best mobile experience and also enjoy using the desktop version of the platform. It is a good choice for when you want something that’s easy to use or if you are a newbie who can’t deal with the complexities of other similar platforms. There is a welcome bonus awaiting you as a new member, and it doesn’t require that you use a code. To get it, click on any of the banners I have provided on this page, and you will be able to create your account very quickly.
