Mnstr Review & Ratings 2026 - Is it Legit and Safe to Play?

First things first - is Monster legit?

Monster - which sometimes calls itself “MNSTR” for short - ticks all the right boxes for me as far as trustworthiness is concerned. The site’s potential Pokemon and One Piece card pulls are professionally-graded by the likes of PSA and BGS. While if you don’t like a pull, Monster offers opportunities to sell cards back to the platform at anywhere up to 95% of their Full Market Value (FMV), and without having to worry about any time restrictions, either - which is rare in the card pulling world.

Having said that, my recent GOATbox review found that the site will let you sell back cards at 100% if you’re happy to accept site Credits on buybacks. So, there are swings and roundabouts here. On the other hand, Monster totally checks out. And I was impressed by a lot of the site’s security features, such as:

• Transparent probabilities - The potential odds of “Rare”, “Epic” and “Legendary” card pulls are clearly displayed on the site’s “Packs” pages.
• Vault storage - Monster stores your physical card pulls in secure, insured vaults, rather than just leaving ‘em hanging around.
• SSL encryption and Cloudflare infrastructure - Basically just means the site itself is armed with secure and safety regulations.

Having said all that, Monster has only been around since late 2025. So if you’re reading up on other rippers’ experiences ahead of registering, don’t expect to see masses of TrustPilot reviews just yet.

What kinds of cards can you rip with Monster– and how does it work?

Register with Monster using my site banners today, and you’ll find the site currently only covers two Collectible Card Games (CCG) - Pokemon and One Piece. Although a grayed-out “Sports” section on their homepage suggests that other CCGs won’t be too far behind. This is, after all, a relatively new platform that’s still finding its feet somewhat.

There are three different ways of ripping cards with the brand, as well as a direct “Marketplace” for individual card purchases and sales. Here is what you need to know about each of the main services offered.

Packs

Monster’s primary “Packs” service offers opportunities to purchase curated card packs ranging from $50 to $1,250. Transparent odds and average pull values are clearly displayed, and there’s an eerily realistic claw grabber animation that picks and rips your randomized pack for you once purchased.

Here’s a glance at the most popular Packs currently up for grabs on the site, and some of the potential high value card pulls that might be inside:

Sealed

Monster’s “Sealed” page offers a different kind of experience altogether. Here, you’ll find “Dutch auctions” on original, sealed card packs. These auctions always open at high prices, which then fall gradually until a buyer clicks to lock in a purchase at a price they’re happy with.

Drops

These are similar Dutch auctions, but held for hidden graded cards, which are revealed once 20 or more “spots” are filled by active Monster users who want to participate in a reverse auction.

As it stands, your “Packs”, “Sealed” and “Drops” card pulls are added to your personal “Vault” when revealed. Cards can then either be shipped to your door, or sold back to Monster at an up to 95% FMV if you don’t like the pull.

Marketplace

This section of the site is more of a peer to peer (P2P) buying/selling platform. You can browse individual graded cards priced independently by sellers, and advertise your own cards for sale, too.

What payment methods does Monster support?

Monster makes purchasing Packs a fair bit more straightforward than other card ripping and mystery box sites I’ve seen. As mentioned, in my GOATbox review, I found that the site makes you buy Credits to open its mystery boxes with. But with Monster, you can buy Packs directly without any middleman.

Currently, Monster supports Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay in terms of regular payment options. While USDC, ETH, and USDm are also available if you’d rather use a crypto wallet to buy in.

The site charges a flat $20 shipping fee in the US, which seems reasonable enough to me. Although this is doubled to $40 if you require international shipping - so please bear this in mind. What’s more, a $5 handling fee per card also applies.

Monster’s site design and usability– my thoughts

I’m not kidding or even exaggerating when I say that Monster’s site looks awesome. It uses pixelated fonts and Game Boy-inspired page backdrops that whip up a fun - and fitting - retro gaming. But also, the site’s white and yellow text remains easy to read against its black background, too.

Navigation-wise, Monster is super minimalist and dead easy to use. Your button clicking options are limited to just a few no-nonsense page links in the top toolbar - i.e., there isn’t even a burger menu. While an FAQ at the bottom of the homepage covers pretty much everything there is to know about how the site works, from shipping times and FMV buyback rates, to how cards are graded.

Does Monster offer an app?

Monster wasn’t advertising an app on either the App Store or Google Pay at the time of writing. But if I were you, I wouldn’t let that bother me too much, as their website is mobile-friendly and resizes cleanly when accessed from smaller-screen devices.

The site gets high Monster ratings in my book, then. If anything, the claw grabber animations it uses for “Packs” look even better on a smartphone than a PC - because they’re displayed in a portrait-shaped window.

Monster’s customer support– is it any good?

Run into any issues with your rips here, and I found that you can contact Monster by either email or social media DM to get them resolved. There’s no on-site live chat widget, unfortunately, but you can message Monster on X, or join their official Discord community if you need help.

I’d argue their email support option is your best bet in most scenarios, though - whenever I’ve tried it, the team has always pinged me back within a couple of hours, tops. And their replies have always been genuinely helpful, too. Hopefully, future site updates will add a live chat widget, though. As tbf, I did find it a bit annoying that there isn’t one currently.

What special offers are available at Monster?

Some card ripping platforms offer competitive bonuses on sign up to lure in first-timers. My Tilt Rips review found that you can currently get one free pack when you register with that brand, for example. While other sites sometimes offer first-time pack purchase discounts.

Unfortunately, Monster isn’t advertising a sign up bonus for new rippers right now. And as it stands, I’d say this is probably the site’s single biggest downside when compared against other, similar platforms.

Of course, there are alternative Monster bonus offers available once you’ve got your foot in the door, though - which I reviewed recently in more detail in a separate guide.

The best alternative promos include:

• Leaderboard rewards - Monster’s leaderboard page offers free pack promotions on Sundays to the site’s top 10 users. The top three get Monster packs, while ranks four to 10 will win Starter packs.
• Refer a friend bonus - invite friends to join you at Monster, and you can collect 5% of any on-site Points they accumulate on the platform.
• “Free Packs” via the Points page - regular ripping gets you Points with Monster, which can be redeemed for “Free Packs” and other rewards through the site’s “Points” tab.

Does Monster have a loyalty program?

The on-site Points I mentioned above are the closest thing Monster currently offers to a loyalty program. How do they work? Well, if you’re a regular collector, Monster will give you Points (sometimes shortened to “PTS”) every time you rip cards, sell them, or make qualifying Marketplace purchases. The number of Points you have will then determine your ranking on the site’s weekly leaderboard.

Your Points can also be put toward purchasing future Packs via the site’s “Points” tab, which usually start out from 62,500 PTS. Although this is actually pretty hefty when you consider that the site currently awards you just 1 PT for each $1 you spend on Pack pulls or Market purchases. Same goes for every $1 worth of cards sold. On the upside, I found that you may occasionally qualify for Free Pack promos, as already mentioned.

My Monster review’s verdict - well worth a look for Pokemon/One Piece rips

Monster may not have a welcome bonus or an app just yet, but I reckon this relatively new card ripping site still punches well above its weight. After all, it offers three fun and exciting different ways to rip, stocks a bunch of super rare PSA and BGS-graded cards, and offers collectors an unusually generous buyback policy with no time limitations.

The site suits casual Pokemon and One Piece collectors down to the ground with its competitive pricing, cool site design and clearly defined how-to guides and FAQs. But thanks to its leaderboard promotions and Points system, it’s also a solid option for serious card enthusiasts who want to make more frequent pulls, too.
