Early indications show that Lunaland ratings are rising, thanks to the social casino games on offer there, along with the signup bonus of 50,000 Luna Coins and one Sweeps Coin. Receive the same again for verifying your phone number.

The titles available here include those from Ruby Play and Pragmatic Play, on a mobile-friendly site that doesn’t require an app. The VIP program is set to launch soon, but the Lunaland site has plenty of slots to play in the meantime. You’ve got a daily login bonus to grab too. Let’s see what else I found out.

Let’s start with the Lunaland social casino bonus offers

I found two components rolled into this bonus:

  • 50,000 Luna Coins (LC) and 1 Sweeps Coin (SC) granted upon opening your account.
  • Another 50,000 Luna Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin awarded if you verify your phone number.

Only the first part of the offer is revealed on the homepage, so getting a chance to claim the same again was a nice surprise. Luna Coins are for social gameplay with this operator, while the Sweeps Coins work as usual in sweepstakes mode. You can only redeem Sweeps Coins winnings for a real prize if you’ve met the 1x playthrough requirement applicable to those. There’s a separate guide that explains why you won’t find any Lunaland no deposit bonus codes, as deposits aren’t allowed there. This opening offer is free to claim though, and ideal for starting to explore the site.

Additional bonus offers

Next up is the daily login bonus, which doesn’t require a Lunaland promo code. I received my first one of 5,000 Luna Coins once I’d created my account, with another one to claim every 24 hours after that. They do vary in size from day to day, rising to 100k Luna Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin by day seven. You don’t get a Sweeps Coin every day though. Beyond that, there’s no telling what you’ll get.

I noted details of a VIP program, but as of the time of writing, it had yet to officially launch. It does look like it’ll have six levels though. A future launch also applies to the Coins Back program and something called the Great Wheel, which are confirmed as Coming Soon. Sounds intriguing though, doesn’t it?

You can also refer other people to the site, with a chance of receiving 400,000 Luna Coins along with 20 free Sweeps Coins if they make a minimum optional LC purchase of $15. This offer only comes your way if players make that LC optional purchase, but it’s still a generous bonus for you if they do.

You can check our Lunaland bonus review for more detail on these offers for existing players.

An overview of this brand before you get your Lunaland login

I love the welcoming feel of the site, and while there’s no mobile app available, I didn’t need one. The site looked good regardless of which device I used to visit it. I noted the VIP ticket ready for when that program goes live. Next to that, there’s a slots option that takes you into the lobby. The categories option shows Ruby Play and Pragmatic Play links, so you can see social games from either developer.

A quick scroll through the lobby reveals categories for candy-themed slots, Megaways social games, and plenty revolving around Zeus and the Gods. There weren’t any other social game categories though, so for now at least, you won’t be able to find any table games, live social games, or other options to consider. That said, the slot variety was impressive, and I was pleased to see plenty of Megaways titles to try. The game categories could do with some finessing, just to make it clearer to see what’s happening there, but that is a minor niggle.

The slots range does give you lots of variety in terms of how many in-house tokens you can use. I begin with Luna Coins, while I build my collection of Sweeps Coins to play a favorite title later. I’d suggest making doubly sure you have selected Luna Coins to begin with, if you want to play with those. You can do this from the top of the site, as it is a simple toggle action. All told, it was nice to explore for a bit and get settled in before playing anything.

What’s it like to use this social and sweepstakes casino?

If you hate confusing menus as much as me, you’ll appreciate the work that has gone into this website. Usability is top notch. I like that it’s all quite simple to explore, with the main account info and links hidden behind the three-line burger logo. That’s where I found my account details, the Luna Coin store for optional purchases, and the rewards area for getting my daily login bonus among other things.

Even on my first visit, I found everything I needed to know to help me write this review and apply some strong Lunaland USA ratings. The usual terms of use and Sweeps Rules sit at the bottom of the site, which is where I found the help center too - more on that shortly. All round, the site has obviously been designed with players in mind - I suspect the owners have built it to reflect what they want to see in social and sweepstake casino formats. They’ve nailed it, too.

3 key areas to note in my Lunaland review

So, moving on - there are a few features that I think are key to generating a positive experience for all players. I’ll cover those here, starting with something you might be wondering about - licensing.

Licensing details for this social casino

As I noted earlier, Lunaland is using the social and sweepstakes casino format. This means it does not accept deposits or withdrawals, and therefore doesn’t need any type of license. It’s also why the site is available across 46 out of 50 US states. They do still provide ownership information at the foot of the site though, which is reassuring to see in terms of transparency. They are also clear that you don’t need to purchase anything to participate in the sweepstakes, and that you can only participate if you can legally do so in your state.

If you’re curious, Lunaland is run by Parana Plays LLC and is based in Dover, Delaware. And the states where Lunaland isn’t available are Washington, Nevada, Michigan, and Idaho.

What kind of customer service options do they offer?

I do love seeing a help center at a social and sweepstakes casino, and thankfully, when I used my Lunaland login, I could access the help center at the bottom of any page. This took me to a different page that displayed five basic areas dealing with the following topics:

  • Account info and associated topics.
  • Info about the two in-house virtual currencies (Luna Coins and Sweeps Coins), how to use them, and making optional LC purchases.
  • Gameplay and troubleshooting.
  • The SC prize redemption process.
  • Responsible gameplay connected to social casinos like Lunaland.

There are plenty of articles and guidelines in each section, and there is a search facility in the graphic at the top of the page, too. If you’ve never used a social and sweepstakes casino before, I recommend going through the section that explains more about the Luna Coins, Sweeps Coins, and how to get them. You’re only able to redeem Sweeps Coins that you’ve won by playing the titles on the site, rather than merely redeeming any bonus SC that you pick up right away. You will need a minimum of 50 redeemable Sweeps Coins before you can begin the redemption process.

There’s a separate contact page in the lower menu too, which allows you to send a message. I saw that they said they’d reply within five hours, tested it, and indeed received a message within that time. This looks like the only way to get in touch, and judging by my research, the response time can vary depending on when you contact them. While live chat isn’t available yet, I’ll update you here if things change. Plenty of Lunaland reviews note that this is a service players could benefit from.

How many LC purchase options are there?

Just to be clear, you don’t need to purchase anything to use this social casino. You can play freely whenever you wish using Luna Coins, which are granted every day via the daily login bonus. However, if you do want to purchase extra Luna Coins on top of the ones you’ve already got, you can do so from within the store. They’ll accept cards bearing the Visa or Mastercard logos, along with Amex. It’s possible they might add some other methods, but for now it looks like cards are the main option.

As for redemptions, if you’ve won enough Sweeps Coins to hit the 50 SC minimum in this respect, it looks as if you can only choose to receive your cash prize via a bank transfer. Again, there is a possibility they may add more options here, and I’ll keep track of what happens there.

Is Lunaland a scam? I can share a positive conclusion here

While there’s no app, they’ve put enough effort into the website to ensure it works well for all users. There’s a great welcome offer available, and the daily bonuses begin from the first time you login. I did note they only have social games from two developers at present, but since they’re new to the social and sweepstakes scene, I fully expect to see some more cropping up in future. The social games were quick to load, and I found it easy enough to compare some titles to make sure I got the most out of my Luna Coins.

A good layout and logical attention to detail helps Lunaland make a big impression in a positive way. Want to try the site for yourself? You can use one of the Lunaland links on this page to sign up today.
