This is a sweepstakes casino, which means there is no real-money gaming involved. Instead, you use two types of virtual currency to play the casino-style games: Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). Just as mentioned in Amazon Jackpots review where there is a welcome bonus offer upon sign up, Lucky Buddha also rewards new players with 100,000 GC and 2 SC, which is a good bonus, and right on par with what many other brands offer.
As is the case with most sweepstakes casinos, new players aren’t the only ones who are eligible to collect virtual currencies. Which brings us to this next point…
Are there bonuses available for existing players?
Yes, absolutely. You can collect more virtual currencies in the following ways:

Lucky Buddha bonus- This bonus is progressive, as it starts with 20,000 GC and goes up from there each day if you maintain your login streak.
- Purchase optional Gold Coin bundles-
While purchasing Gold Coins is never required, you can pick up bonus Sweeps Coins as when you do so.

Yes, this site offers a 10-tier VIP program, which you progress through by collecting XP. As you climb through the tiers, your rewards get bigger and better, including:

- Level-up bonuses

- Free spins on the Wheel of Fortune
- Birthday gifts
- Unique merchandise
The rewards look good, and I’m excited to unlock them as I climb through the 40 levels and 10 tiers. The site tells you exactly how many experience points (XP) you need to collect in order to move to each tier. For example, Tier 1 to Tier 2 requires 100 XP, Tier 2 to Tier 3 250 XP, and so on.
The downside here is that the site doesn’t tell you exactly how to collect XP. It says you’ll collect these points through gameplay, but there are no specifics about how much gaming or what type you need to do to collect one point. So, at this time I can’t tell you whether it’s worth pursuing the various levels of the program as I don’t know how much time and effort it requires. I’ll update you here when I learn more. This site features a dark background with orange accents, and a “Lucky Buddha” theme that runs throughout the site, from the design to the names of the promotions. I found the navigation user-friendly, and very similar to other sweepstakes casinos, such as the one you can read about in my KingPrize review.
This site has a relatively large gaming catalog, with over 1500 games coming from a mix of lesser-known providers alongside top providers (BGaming, BetSoft, Kalamba, 3Oaks). The site mainly features a variety of slots, including hold and win, bonus buys, and cascading reels. There’s a nice selection of RNG table games such as poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat and more. To my surprise, there was also a small live-dealer section with over a dozen games. So yes, there is plenty of entertainment available on the site, and I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.

Does this brand offer an app?
No, there is no app available. However, this brand has publicly stated that they prioritize a mobile-friendly experience, and I could certainly see that with my own gameplay. I had zero issues navigating the site, loading games, playing games or making payments on my Android phone. Everything loaded fast, and there were no gametime lags.

This site offers minimal payment options for those who choose to make an optional purchase of Gold Coins, as you can only use credit cards (such as Visa and Mastercard). I expect most players tend to have credit cards they can use, but I’d still like to see additional options, such as a couple e-wallets like many other similar brands provide.
The good news is that there are quite a few additional options for redemptions, but the bad news is that you’ll usually incur fees using these options. That’s highly disappointing, as most sweepstakes casinos don’t have any fee for redemptions. You’ll need to meet the playthrough requirement of 1x and collect 100 redeemable SC before you can initiate a redemption, and then you’ll have these options for cash redemptions:

Note that the brand aims to approve redemptions in 24-48 hours. As you can see some options are available instantly, the same day, or the next day. All other options will take around one to three business days.

This brand has a nice collection of FAQs if you need answers to basic questions, such as how to make a payment or how long a redemption takes. If you need human help, or information not provided in the FAQs, then you can reach out to support using their email address or their contact form. When I did this, I received a reply back in about five hours.
That response time is acceptable for email support, but I am a little disappointed that live support isn’t available so that players can get an answer in minutes. If you’ve read some of my other reviews, such as the Wisespin review, then you know that other sites often provide live chat support. The Lucky Buddha site does say that if you climb into the upper levels of the VIP program that you’ll receive priority support, which is a good deal, but I do wish all customers had a chat option.

I don’t like to sign up for a new site unless I trust them, and that means doing my due diligence to be sure the brand is legit. In this case, I can say with confidence that this brand is indeed safe and secure.
The company that operates this brand is called Windstorm Tech, LLC, which operates out of Alabama. I did a little research and found that the company is transparent, and I didn’t uncover anything suspicious or concerning about the company. On the contrary, the site appears to be in compliance with the law, which you can see in their detailed terms and conditions, as well as their policies. This includes their identity verification policy, which is an anti-money laundering initiative that all reputable casinos follow, which you may have read about in some of my other sweepstakes casino reviews.
The second big issue I researched is player safety, and here too this brand checks all the right boxes. Their site is secure, with a valid security certificate and advanced encryption technology.
