How to use the bonus coins at GoldSlips
GoldSlips use the standard two coin currency system you'll find at pretty much every legit sweepstakes casino, but they have chosen slightly different names, and one of them is confusing.
The first coin is called Fun Coins, which is obvious enough, as they have no monetary value and are purely used for fun play. That's why they're in such abundance in bonuses. These are comparable to what other casinos call Gold Coins.
The second coin is Gold Slips, obviously mirroring the name of the site, but I find it confusing that this has been used for the non-Gold Coin token. Anyway, I guess you'll get used to it after a while. Games are what it's all about and GoldSlips only has 16 (and they're only slots), which is far too little in our opinion. We understand wanting to launch the site as soon as possible, but it might have been worth attracting a few more games first.
Whereas Stake.us has hundred of games to choose from, and not just slots -- all different genres.
User interface and experience
If you have read my recent Carnival Citi review, you know that user experience is second to none when ranking sweepstakes casinos. Stake.us understands the importance of site responsiveness and has gone the extra mile to optimize its website.
I'm not sure the same can be said for GoldSlips, as we encountered a few things that didn't feel smooth or intuitive. For example, during games we often found the 'Home' button greyed out, meaning that to return to the lobby we had to manually alter the URL in the browser. Not good!
On the other hand, Stake.us' UI is classy and smooth -- that's what comes from being in business for years. Their dark green and white color scheme is easy to take in too, compared with the mess of colors that is Gold Slips.

GoldSlips has a supposed signup bonus of 10,000 Fun Coins and 10 Gold Slips to new players, but we can't speak on this with much experience because we never received it when we signed up.
