GoldSlips social casino is a new venture, and unfortunately, it shows. While they do have some decent bonus offers in theory, their offering as a whole is not good, and so we can't recommend you play here. In fact, we didn't even receive our promised signup bonus from them!
Read on to understand why we advise you to play elsewhere at sites like Stake.us, or you can read our main GoldSlips review for even more detail as to their pros and cons.
GoldSlips promise a signup bonus of 10,000 Fun Coins and 10 Gold Slips to new players. This sounds great, but when we signed up, we noticed nothing in our account to play with, which really wasn't a good first impression.

On their help pages they mention that if this happens (it's almost like they know it might happen) to email and request you have it applied to your account. We didn't do this as we noticed the daily spin wheel on the homepage.
We clicked this instead and were able to receive to a small sum of both coins. The Gold Slips weren't anywhere as numerous as what was promised in the signup promo, but at least we now had some Fun Coins to test out the platform. And to be honest, being able to receive a top-up of both currencies daily via this wheel is a good thing.
The third main bonus for new players that we'd like to point out is the first-purchase bonus which gives players an extra 100% on their first coin bundle, assuming you pick from the $9.99 or $19.99 coin bundles. To get this you have to use the code HELLO. For example, if you purchase their coin bundle of 10,000 Fun Coins and 10 Gold Slips at $9.99, you'll receive double that amount in total, which is not bad either.
However, none of these promos compare to what's on offer at Stake.us -- we'll get to a direct comparison later on in this article.
GoldSlips use the standard two coin currency system you'll find at pretty much every legit sweepstakes casino, but they have chosen slightly different names, and one of them is confusing.
The first coin is called Fun Coins, which is obvious enough, as they have no monetary value and are purely used for fun play. That's why they're in such abundance in bonuses. These are comparable to what other casinos call Gold Coins.
The second coin is Gold Slips, obviously mirroring the name of the site, but I find it confusing that this has been used for the non-Gold Coin token. Anyway, I guess you'll get used to it after a while. These are the equivalent of Sweepstakes Coins, and have no monetary value either, but if your redemption request is successful, they can be turned into real cash.
There are just a few points to remember when attempting to make a redemption request with your Gold Slips. First thing is, any Gold Slips must have been played through at least once before redemption. Also you must have stored up at least 50. Finally, you cannot request a redemption of more than 4,999. Each Gold Slip can be turned into 1 US dollar, by the way.
It's also worth bearing in mind you must have completed the verification process fully before you can receive your winnings.
And one more thing, your Gold Slips will expire after 120 days of account inactivity, but to keep things ticking along you simply need to log in at least once within this period.
Suppose you have signed up with GoldSlips and received the 100% matched deposit bonus; there are a few tips you can borrow from us to make the best use of your coinage:
Keep an eye out in your emails for new offers. GoldSlips tells us these will most frequently be sent out through email and can be for limited periods of time, so watch your inbox to avoid missing out.
With only 16 games available, you'll likely have time to play all of them at least once before figuring out which has the RTP (return to player) percentage and volatility that suit you best. While you're at this stage, please use your Fun Coins, and then you can pull the trigger on your Gold Slips when you're sure you've found the right game.
GoldSlips' daily wheel spin is worth taking advantage of to keep your account topped up with at least a bit of each coin. You can use this once per day, so remember to login every 24 hours for best results.
Most sweepstakes casinos have a playthrough requirement beyond which players can redeem their winnings for prizes. Once you have used your GoldSlips promo code, you should play through those Gold Slips you received in the bonus at least once before you can expect to redeem them.
At the time of writing, GoldSlips have a limit on how much you can request in a redemption. The lower limit is 50 Gold Slips, and the higher limit is 4,999 -- any number in-between these two should be fine, and each redemption supposedly takes up to 7 working days.
If you are new to GoldSlips, here are answers to some commonly-asked questions when it comes to sweeps casinos.
Fun Coin games are those played using Fun Coins and are meant for fun and entertainment. On the other hand, sweepstakes games are played using Gold Slips, and the winnings from these games can be redeemed for prizes. All games can be played in either mode.
Most bonuses generally include both coins, although if you buy the lowest coin bundle ($4.99) and use the HELLO promo code, don't expect any Gold Slips, as that bundle is purely for Fun Coins. Any of the higher value coin bundles feature both coins, and the promo code will allow you to double the amounts.
We have no news as of yet, but keep an eye on your emails for when GoldSlips will roll a new promo out. We'll update this page and the GoldSlips no-deposit bonus codes page when that happens too.
As a new sweepstakes casino, Goldslips is yet to create a VIP or loyalty program. This is one of the disadvantages of signing up for a newer casino, and it's in areas like like this that established sites like Stake.us have GoldSlips beat.

The question you should ask yourself is: do you want to play at a site with a poor UI, only 16 games and no VIP program.
We know the answer to that question, and that's why we choose competitors like Stake.us over GoldSlips.
GoldSlips has potential but it needs to sort out some fundamental issues before it can compete in the same league as more established sites. First step, make sure a new player always receives their signup bonus!
Yes, GoldSlips can only be played by those in the US. If you try to access the site from outside the US, you are likely to be denied.
The only promo code currently available for this site is HELLO, which can be used to double the amounts in your first coin bundle purchase.
No. The Goldslips bonus code that gives players a 100% matched bonus doesn't limit the type of games users can play. Each game can be played in either Fun Coins or Gold Slips mode.

Trading financial products carries a high risk to your capital, especially trading leverage products such as CFDs. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Between 74-89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
Game choice
Games are what it's all about and GoldSlips only has 16 (and they're only slots), which is far too little in our opinion. We understand wanting to launch the site as soon as possible, but it might have been worth attracting a few more games first.
Whereas Stake.us has hundred of games to choose from, and not just slots -- all different genres.
User interface and experience
If you have read my recent Carnival Citi review, you know that user experience is second to none when ranking sweepstakes casinos. Stake.us understands the importance of site responsiveness and has gone the extra mile to optimize its website.
I'm not sure the same can be said for GoldSlips, as we encountered a few things that didn't feel smooth or intuitive. For example, during games we often found the 'Home' button greyed out, meaning that to return to the lobby we had to manually alter the URL in the browser. Not good!
On the other hand, Stake.us' UI is classy and smooth -- that's what comes from being in business for years. Their dark green and white color scheme is easy to take in too, compared with the mess of colors that is Gold Slips.
Signup bonus
GoldSlips has a supposed signup bonus of 10,000 Fun Coins and 10 Gold Slips to new players, but we can't speak on this with much experience because we never received it when we signed up.
This is very different to what you can experience at Stake.us -- input our exclusive STFSOCIALpromo code as you register to claim an ongoing 5% rakeback on losses and 55 Stake Cash plus 260,000 Gold Coins on sign-up. The totals aren't comparable, and you will actually receive this bonus!
