GEMINT is still relatively new, but it’s great to see that there are a few features about to launch, because it instantly tells newcomers that GEMINT has a strong commitment to making it the best it can be. As of right now, we are waiting on the Marketplace, which we expect will give you the chance to buy and sell trading cards. One Piece and baseball trading cards are also going to get rolled out, which will expand the card rips and gauge a few more interests.
Now, let’s move on to what you can already do at GEMINT.
Trading cards
Card packs are the heartbeat of GEMINT, so you will land right into the Official Gacha section of the website when you visit. At the moment, you can rip Pokémon and soccer trading cards that vary in value. Whenever you pull a trading card from a pack, you will receive an NFT to digitally represent your physical card. If you want the physical card to be sent to your address, all you need to do is burn the NFT, and it’ll appear on your redemptions page.
Pokémon is the most popular card pack at GEMINT, so it’s certainly the center of the Official Gacha. I found six card packs to choose from, which range in value and grading. Here’s a look at the types of Pokémon card packs you can choose from to give you an idea of what to expect:

Before you buy a card pack, you will be given the full list of possibilities and the chances of pulling those individual cards. For example, the Pokemon Master Pack gives you a 46% chance of pulling a card that’s worth $176-$200. One of the most valuable cards in this pack is the Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat PSA 10, which is worth $3,500.
When you pull out a trading card, it’s yours to keep. That said, you will soon have the option of selling it on the Marketplace if you prefer. Alternatively, you can choose the instant sellback option, which gives you 90% of the value.
Pack Battle
The Pack Battles add another layer to your experience at GEMINT, and personally, I quite enjoyed it. Here, you can go head-to-head against other users in this interactive battle. You can either create your own battle or join someone else's - it’s totally up to you. Of course, these battles aren’t required, so you can skip them entirely if you prefer not to take part.
Regardless of the type of battle you enter, the winner will take the opponent's trading card. However, the type of battle will determine the rules of how you can win/lose the battle. For example, the Classic Battle requires you to have the highest value of cards to win, whereas the Reverse Battle rules say that you need to have the lowest value.
A feature I liked about these Pack Battles is that you can rewatch previous battles from earlier, even if you weren’t a part of it. So, if you prefer to sit back and watch other battles play out, that’s absolutely something you can do. As I say, GEMINT is a super interactive site, which blew me away.

GEMINT is super easy to use, even for newcomers
Whether this is your first time ripping card packs online or you have done this hundreds of times before, GEMINT is designed with all needs in mind. When you first log into your account, you will see a line-up of the available card packs and a few possibilities of what you can rip. There’s even a rolling banner of recently pulled cards to give you a little taste of what real people are ripping.
The sidebar is there to take you to wherever you want - the Official Gacha, Pack Battles, and your Profile. There are even links to the social media channels and Discord community here, so you can find your way around practically everywhere.
I didn’t find a mobile app for GEMINT, but I did discover that the website is mobile-friendly. The website design is largely the same on a mobile device, but the content has been condensed to make your scrolling a lot easier. I personally prefer to rip card packs on a bigger screen, but it’s all down to individual preferences, and I can definitely see that the mobile site has its perks.

When I first opened an account, I thought there wasn’t a
GEMINT bonus
for new arrivals at all. I soon realized that there was a Coupon button in the sidebar, so I tapped it to see where it would take me. I expected to find a generic promo code box, but I was wrong. Instead, it was offering me a $10 coupon as a new user, provided that I complete a few quick steps:

Easy payments through your linked crypto wallet
GEMINT has a built-in wallet that allows you to transfer funds from your external crypto wallet. You will be invited to link your wallet after registration, where you are given a long list of options. A few cryptocurrencies to choose from, including Binance, MetaMask, Coinbase, Rainbow, and 1inch. Alternatively, you can also deposit using debit/credit cards and Apple Pay, if you prefer.
If you sell any of your trading cards, you will receive some cash in your account. You can either use it to buy more card packs, or you can withdraw it. If you prefer to withdraw your funds, then you can head to the withdrawal page. Here, you will be given two options: Mercuryo and MoonPay. After selecting your preferred provider, your funds will be transferred and withdrawn in fiat currency.
What surprised me is that I couldn’t find a live chat service or even a FAQ page. While I totally get that GEMINT wants the support to be given exclusively in the Discord channel, I did expect to find a few FAQs at least. Personally, I’d like to see an FAQ section rolled out, because not everyone wants to join another channel, and it would reassure newcomers who may have a simple question initially.
That said, the Discord community channel does the job, and it’s great. After all, you will need to join this to unlock your welcome bonus, so the chances are you will already be in it before you encounter an issue or have a question, anyway. Once you are in the Discord channel, you can submit a ticket to the team, or you can chat with other users, depending on your preference.

GEMINT passed my tests with flying colors
While GEMINT is still pretty new, it passed all of my strict tests. I didn’t hold back just because GEMINT is new, so I can certainly say I didn’t find any red flags. At the bottom of the website, you will find the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Between these links, you can learn all about GEMINT, the company behind it, and how the site handles your data. Practically everything any newcomer will want to know is stored right here.
When I visited GEMINT for the first time, before I could even access the site, I was asked to accept the T&Cs, which I quite liked. It broke down a few of the key terms for me, including that each card pack is random and ensuring I knew that card values can rise or fall. It even asked me to accept that all card packs are final when opened and that I was an eligible user aged 18+ years old. Right off the bat, GEMINT came across as a legitimate site.
Conclusion: GEMINT is already strong, but new features are coming soon
GEMINT is already a solid card rip site, offering Pokemon and soccer trading cards. That said, plenty of new features are yet to come, including One Piece and baseball cards.
