If you’re a big sports fan, you might be familiar with fuboTV, the streaming service which allows you to watch all of the biggest sporting matches worldwide. Fubo’s sportsbook offerings an innovative way for you to combine sports and betting.
We delved deep for this Fubo review, and if you’re in one of the states where they’re licensed (Arizona or Iowa), we’ve rounded up everything you need to know. Continue reading our Fubo reviews to find out all about the huge welcome offer, great range of sports, markets, and everything else you can look forward to when you sign up.
Bonus offers are a fantastic way for online sportsbook providers to show new players that they mean business. The most common form of bonuses for sportsbooks is a risk-free bet, but there are also other forms of offers, like match bonuses and other free bets.
While writing our Fubo reviews, we were thrilled to find that they are offering a big risk-free bet of up to $1,000 as the Fubo sign up offer for new players. To claim the offer, you’ll need to be physically present in one of the applicable states and use the bonus code which you’ll find on the promotions page on the site. Once you place your first bet at Fubo, if it loses, you’ll be credited with the same amount as a free bet, up to $1,000. You’ll need to make use of your free bet within 30 days.
In addition, no matter whether your first bet wins or loses, you’ll receive an email with details on how to redeem a 30-day free subscription to fuboTV.
The first thing that struck us while researching for our Fubo reviews, was how premium and luxurious the site feels. While the design and layout is very much what you’d expect from any online sportsbook, the dark background and minimalistic color scheme are very sophisticated.
We tried the site on both desktop and mobile for our Fubo reviews, and it’s super easy to use on both. In fact, we found that the mobile site is even slicker than the desktop site, which makes sense when you consider the fact that a lot of people might be betting on their mobile while catching the events on fuboTV.
Making your way around the Fubo site couldn’t be easier - we know because we dove into everything for our Fubo reviews. You can see live events in a handy calendar format, and your betslip is sticky at the side of the screen for easy access at all times. You can access your account details or the cashier with just a few clicks, and other important information like responsible gambling is all located in the footer.
We were also really impressed with the layout and ease of use of the FAQs section, which is broken down into different categories so that you’ll have no trouble browsing.
You’ll be able to make your payments via a few different methods: credit or debit cards (note that Iowa residents can’t use credit cards), the digital wallet Skrill, or VIP Preferred, which is an electronic funds transfer system. This isn’t the biggest variety of deposit methods, but it should cover everyone nonetheless.
Fubo doesn’t charge any fees for deposit or withdrawals, but you should be aware that if you use a credit or debit card, your own bank may charge you a fee. While all deposits should reflect in your Fubo account immediately, it may take 3 - 5 working days for withdrawals to reach you, as these need to be approved by both Fubo and your own bank. A huge plus is that there are currently no deposit or withdrawal limits! We almost couldn’t believe this, but we verified it with customer support when writing our Fubo reviews.
Fubo has a really excellent customer support system, so if you have any questions it’s simple to get in touch. In fact, we did so multiple times in the course of researching for our Fubo reviews. Just like we found in our BetMGM reviews, here’s a comprehensive FAQs section where you can find answers to common queries on topics like account verification, responsible gambling and promotions.
If you need to get in touch directly with a support agent, you can do so via live chat. You can even use a handy tool that allows you to sign in via social media or Google in order to use live chat. Response times are speedy at just a couple of seconds. If you prefer, you can submit a contact request directly on the website, but it may take a little longer to get a reply.
Before you sign up and start playing, you might be wondering, “is Fubo safe?”. As you’d expect from a reputable sportsbook provider like Fubo, they hold all of the relevant licenses and comply with stringent security procedures. Fubo is available to players located in Arizona and Iowa, and as such, they’re licensed by the governing bodies of each of these states.
The Fubo website makes use of encryption technology to protect your data. You can see this by checking for the lock icon in the URL bar. Industry-standard technology ensures that your personal data can’t be seen by anyone without authorization.
In order to verify your account and start playing, you’ll need to provide your social security number and provide a driving license, state-issued ID or passport. These documents will be used to verify your age and location.
At the moment, Fubo doesn’t offer a formalized VIP program where high rollers get access to separate promotions and offers. If that happens to be a dealbreaker for you, then you might want to see our Caesars Casino reviews instead. At Fubo, all players will have access to promotions, such as risk-free bets and other offers where you can claim bonuses when you place bets on certain sports.
In our opinion, this approach can be preferable to a traditional VIP program, as it ensures that no matter whether you’re a new or existing player, and no matter the amount you prefer to bet, you’ll still be able to enjoy excellent offers throughout your time at Fubo.
While writing our Fubo reviews, we found that the customer support is also excellent, especially via live chat, so the team will really make you feel like you’re a VIP anyway!
We thoroughly checked all of the betting markets available to players when researching for our Fubo reviews. While the range of sports isn’t massive (for example you won’t find any of the really niche sports here), they definitely cover all the big ones, so everyone should be catered for. Some major sports to note here include the big leagues like the NHL, MBA and Premier League, as well as events in boxing, tennis, golf, Nascar, and MMA.
When it comes to the different markets available, this will depend entirely on the sport and event you’re betting on. We noticed that NHL matches might have about three different markets, while European soccer might have several dozen. In general, these cover what you’d expect - winners, goals, margins and many others. We also noted that the markets are referred to as “wagers'' at Fubo.
Fubo uses American odds, so if you prefer to use a different format, you might need to use a converter, but these are easy to find online, so you shouldn’t have any trouble. Like the majority of other sportsbooks, the odds on some events are better than average, but that’s not the case for all events. Overall though, the odds are pretty much in line with the bigger sportsbooks.
You can also request odds for an unlisted event, but this is assessed on a case by case basis, when you get in touch with the support team.
During our Fubo reviews, we found that the sportsbook has a full section for live events, so they are definitely focused on this, which makes sense as they’re affiliated with fuboTV, and many people will be watching the event while using the sportsbook site to bet on the match. This also explains why there’s no feature for live streaming directly on the site - you’d have a much better experience streaming on fuboTV!
That said, the live betting option works well, everything happens in real time and you’ll even see odds changing before your eyes, so even if you’re not watching the event, you’ll definitely feel like you’re up to speed. The betting experience for live events is pretty much exactly the same as for pre-event betting, and there’s a great range of different markets to bet on.
At the moment there are no maximum bets on any of the markets at Fubo, so you’re able to place any bet amount you please. However, it’s worth noting that large bets may be assessed by the trading team and voided. Some sportsbook operators really have a reputation for restricting players’ accounts, but in our experience Fubo isn’t one of those.
We spent many hours researching for our Fubo reviews, just as we do with all sportsbooks and casinos. Don’t believe us? See our Fitzdares reviews for a comprehensive overview of another great operator. Overall we’re very happy to say that this is a great operator. We’d love to see them expand into other states, but for now, our readers in Iowa and Arizona can look forward to an excellent experience. It’s also totally unique in that it integrates so seamlessly with the fuboTV experience.
With dozens of markets to bet on, across hundreds of events, plus regular promotions and offers, there’s a huge amount to look forward to here. One thing that is missing at the moment is fubo esports, but if this is added in the future, we’ll update you with our esports betting reviews. While there could be some improvements, for now Fubo is definitely on the up and up!
FuboTV is an online streaming platform, which is focused on bringing you the best sporting matches, both from the USA and internationally. While you can’t bet directly on the fuboTV platform, there is a solution. Read our Fubo reviews for the full low down.
As you’ll be aware, licensing requirements vary from state to state, and any sportsbooks need to be specifically licensed with that state. Sports betting is also not legal in every state. Our Fubo reviews at Strafe dives into where exactly you can use the Fubo site.
Before you sign up to use a sportsbook site, you’ll definitely want to assess whether it’s a safe and secure place to play. There are a number of elements to look out for when you’re making that decision - we’ve broken them down in our Fubo reviews.
Most online sportsbook sites offer a few different ways for bettors to deposit and withdraw. Fubo is no different, and there are several options available, which cater for the majority of players. Read our full review at Strafe to find out all about depositing and withdrawing at Fubo sportsbook.
We’re happy to conclude our Fubo reviews by saying that this is a really excellent experience. There’s a great range of sports and markets to bet on, some enticing promotions to keep you interested, and of course, they are fully licensed and regulated, so you can rest assured that you’re getting a safe and secure experience.
Both mobile and desktop play are optimized for your devices, so it’s easy to take Fubo with you wherever you go. While they could work on some areas in the future - for example, a loyalty program - we’re excited to see how Fubo continues to expand. The only negative is that they’re only available in two states!
Fubo Iowa customers can bet on hundreds of events across dozens of different sports. All of the big ones are covered, from the leagues like NFL and NHL, to top international sports like European soccer, golf and more. The Fubo site is user-friendly and ideal for use on both your mobile or your desktop, no matter whether you’re a fuboTV subscriber or not.
Fubo Iowa players can look forward to a risk-free bet of up to $1,000 if their first bet is settled as a loser. There are also other regular promotions and offers, so lots of reasons to sign up. Due to state laws, players in Iowa are not able to deposit or withdraw using a credit card.
Fubo Arizona players can look forward to a great offering, which includes a big variety of sports and markets to bet on, as well as some thrilling promotions. The Fubo Arizona bonus takes the form of a risk-free bet of up to $1,000 if your first bet with them loses. In addition, there are regular offers like bonuses and more free bets to keep you entertained. Covering top events in both local and international sports, it’s guaranteed that you’ll find something you enjoy. You can look forward to a premium experience on both desktop and mobile when you play here.
