Signing up for an account

Even if you live in a non-restricted state, you must still be at least 21 years old and be able to verify your identity to sign up. You must also ensure that you only ever create one account on the site and agree to all other site terms and conditions.

It’s a simple process to create an account with EpicSweep. All you need to do is:

1. Locate a banner on this page and click through to the site.

2. Press the “Sign Up” button in the upper right corner of the screen.

3. Either use your Apple or Facebook account to sign up, or enter your email address and create a password.

4. Accept the terms and conditions.

5. Fill out your name and phone number.

6. Verify your email address.

And then you’re all set!

Note that you will have to undergo Know Your Customer (KYC) checks to verify your identity before you can redeem any eligible SC later on. This involves uploading a photo of a valid form of ID, taking a selfie, and providing recent proof of address.

How do sweepstakes casinos work?

Sweepstakes casinos such as EpicSweep follow a completely different operating model than traditional real money casinos in the United States and, therefore, are largely allowed across the country. While traditional casinos are considered gambling and require individuals to pay in order to play, sweepstakes casinos are always free to join, require no purchase, and operate using virtual currencies — typically Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC).

• Gold Coins: GC are used solely for entertainment purposes and have no real monetary value. You use them to play games.
• Sweeps Coins: SC are also used to play games but can be redeemed for cash prizes after meeting a site's redemption rules (typically a minimum amount of SC and at least a 1x playthrough requirement).

Since you’re at a sweepstake casino, you won’t find the usual EpicSweep Casino free spins bonus on slot games because they are technically free and you play using virtual currencies. How do you collect these virtual currencies? At EpicSweep and most other similar platforms, you’ll receive free GC and SC upon signing up, through daily bonuses, through mail-in requests, and other site-specific promotions.

Why isn’t EpicSweep available in certain states?

As mentioned above, EpicSweep operates under a promotional sweepstakes model, but its availability varies from state to state. This is because some states have restrictions around promotional gaming, while others have introduced rules that limit access to platforms like EpicSweep.

In some areas where the rules or regulatory environment are unclear, EpicSweep has chosen to restrict access itself rather than risk operating where its availability could be questioned. While frustrating for users in areas that want to but cannot play, it’s always best to follow the restrictions that apply in your state.

It's also important to note that state availability (and unavailability) isn’t always permanent. Availability can change over time as state policies and regulations evolve, so a state that isn’t currently supported may become available in the future.

Is EpicSweep safe and legit?

EpicSweep is indeed a legitimate sweepstakes casino, run by Epic Social Play Inc. In terms of security, user data is safe and protected by SSL encryption, and KYC checks are in place before players can redeem SC for prizes, meaning fraud and unauthorized redemptions are unlikely to occur.

No license is required to operate, but the platform complies with all necessary U.S. sweepstakes laws, so there’s nothing to worry about in terms of availability aside from the above location and age requirements. You can simply sign up and then enjoy your EpicSweep free SC and GC.
