Crypto.com emerges as our top destination in the United States for trading event contracts. But that's a story for another day, as the Crypto.com sign up bonus is what brought us here today.
Don't get muddled – there’s no welcome offer designed for prediction trading. After experimenting with the platform, we found there is a bonus that you can grab as a crypto trader. You’ll get a BTC bonus when you’ve completed the Welcome Bonus mission. We’ll explain how it works and the steps we followed to claim it. Read on to learn more.
While we are here to unpack the sign up promotional offer, allow us to explain how things work at this platform. As one of the US prediction market sites hugging the top of the ladder, Crypto.com allows you to trade event contracts on a slew of markets. From economics to culture to politics to crypto – you have a whole lot of options as a trader here. One of our favorite categories is the Crypto.com sports markets, given that it allows us to trade event contracts for ten different sports, including soccer, cricket, and tennis.
But we’d like to point out that Arizona and New York are prohibited from trading on any of the available markets. And residents of the following seven states are not allowed to trade event contracts on sports contracts:
❌ Illinois
❌ New Jersey
❌ Massachusetts
❌ Maryland
❌ Michigan
❌ Ohio
❌ Nevada
Each prediction market that you’ll find at Crypto.com will present a straightforward Yes or No question. Here is an example: Will Oklahoma City win the 2026 Pro Basketball Western Conference Championship? All you have to do is choose a side that reflects what you think the outcome will be. Once you have made your decision, you only need to purchase a contract that aligns with your prediction. Now kick back and relax and wait for the D-day – when the event will take place and be resolved.
Our investigation shows that you’ll bag $10 or $1 if you make a prediction of an event contract and it turns out to be accurate when the smoke clears. But, on the flip side, you’ll get nada, nothing if you are incorrect. The price of event contracts that we spotted on the site during our review ranges from $0.01 to $0.99. Keep the technology and Crypto.com fees in mind when buying and selling contracts.
While doing our Crypto.com review, we learned that the site doesn’t give out a standard welcome bonus that you can snap up as a new trader and use to make predictions. While it rolls out the welcome wagon by greeting new joiners with a Welcome Bonus Mission, our investigation has shown that this sign up promotion is not linked to prediction. Instead, it's an exchange sign up offer designed for crypto trading. The bonus comes in the form of rewards that can grant up to 1 Bitcoin (BTC).
You’ll only be eligible for this offer if you register, pass the KYC checks via the Crypto.com mobile application, and complete the Welcome mission. The last time we checked, the mission requires that you trade $500 or $100. Based on our observations, there are two things you need to soak in here: The exact trading target you must reach is largely dependent on your state of residence. And the reward you’ll receive will hinge on what you’ll have traded on the exchange once the mission is up.
One thing you should keep in mind is that you’ll only receive your rewards if you meet these requirements within 720 hours (30 days) after setting up your account. Once your reward is ready, you’ll see it on your home screen banner. Alternatively, you can get it from the Supermenu or Missions section.
Here is a table displaying an overview of this bonus:
| Detail | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Offer | Up to 1 Bitcoin (BTC) |
| Requirement | Trade $500 or $100 within 720 hours or 30 days |
| Where to use the bonus | Crypto trading |
You can only participate in the Welcome Bonus Mission promotion if you are at least 18 years old and live in one of the 49 states where Crypto.com is available. As you’d expect, NY is the only state that didn’t make the cut. With this in mind, the process of claiming the Crypto.com sign up offer is overly straightforward if you meet the two eligibility criteria. The following steps will help you get this done:
Press our page banners to head on to the Crypto.com site with your mobile device. When you do this, you’ll land on the main web page of the website.
A few clicks on its homepage should initiate the registration process. Tapping Get the App/Get will take you to Google Play or the App Store. Now, install the Crypto.com app on your device and fire it up. Next, go to the bottom right corner of your screen and click on the blue Sign Up button. Choose to continue the process with your Google account, as we found that it’s much quicker. You’ll then need to select the US area codes from the drop-down list and provide your phone number. Use the 6-digit code Crypto.com will send via SMS to verify it, then fill in your preferred password.
Before Crypto.com gives you the OK to use its site, you must verify your identity by completing the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure. You’ll need to take a selfie and upload a valid government-issued document for this process. If everything checks out, Crypto.com will notify you once your account is verified and ready for use.
Now, sign in to your account and opt in to the Welcome Bonus Mission. You’ll find the option to do this when you head on to the Mission tab. By doing this, you’ll be able to take part in the Crypto.com sign up promo. The site will drop your reward into your account, so long as you’ve completed the mission in time.
In addition to crypto trading, Crypto.com is our go-to choice whenever we want to trade on real-world events related to sports. The site allows you to trade binary outcomes on tournament-long and season-long outcomes, with coverage including the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and Super Bowl LXI. We also saw several individual game events. These include the Paris Saint-Germain vs. Arsenal UEFA Champions League final match and the Indiana Fever vs Golden State Valkyries WNBA game. Other available event categories that you can explore on this prediction market site are politics, companies, climate, and culture.
During our Crypto.com prediction markets review, we noticed that a standard welcome offer is missing in action. But the platform awards up to 1 Bitcoin (BTC) in through the Welcome Bonus Mission.
Outside of that, Crypto.com is a secure prediction platform available in the English language. You can join it from the US and trade event contracts. Feel free to follow our on-page banners, so you can sign up and start making predictions.
The Crypto.com sign up promotion is available in most US states. Note that New York and Arizona are prohibited from trading on any market.
You cannot use the reward you’ll receive as a sign bonus to trade event contracts, as you can only use it in crypto trading.
You don’t need a promo code to get the 1 BTC bonus; you only need to complete the Welcome Bonus mission to grab it.
