If you’ve been paying attention to the crypto space, you know Bitcoin crossed $100,000 multiple times and things got interesting again. If you’ve been looking for a prediction market to make predictions, you’ve probably seen the Crypto.com app.

You have probably seen it plastered across Formula One cars, UFC events, and more. They even bought the naming rights to one of the biggest arenas in Los Angeles. Big marketing budget, for sure, but does the app actually hold up? We spent time going through it properly so you do not have to figure it out the hard way.

What is Crypto.com though?

Crypto.com launched in 2016 out of Singapore and has grown into one of the largest crypto exchanges on the planet, with over 150 million users across 90 countries. Beyond just buying and selling crypto, it gives you a DeFi wallet, a Visa card with cashback, staking options, and an NFT marketplace.

Crypto.com first entered the prediction markets space in late 2024, becoming the first platform to offer CFTC-regulated sports event contracts in the United States, and  in February 2026, Crypto.com spun the product out into a standalone platform called OG, powered by Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA).

One thing worth noting is that this is not the same as the general Crypto.com crypto exchange app. The prediction market platform is its own separate product, built specifically for trading contracts on real-world outcomes. You are not buying Bitcoin or Ethereum, you are taking positions on whether something will happen, from sports results to election outcomes to economic data releases

Where is the Crypto.com mobile app available?

The platform is currently focused on the United States and is accessible in English via both the web and a mobile app on iOS and Android. That said, not every market is available in every state. New York and Arizona residents are not allowed to trade on any markets. Nevada, Ohio, Michigan, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Illinois residents are not allowed to trade on sports contracts, though they can still trade on other categories like elections and economic indicators. If you are in an eligible state, you will need to complete identity verification with a government-issued ID before you can deposit and trade. And Crypto.com referral codes reward you with different tiers of bonuses depending on location as well.

Interface and usability - What we liked and didn’t like

To be straight with you, the interface is clean, well laid out, and the onboarding process doesn’t throw you off. This Crypto.com Prediction markets review shows even more detail on this.

A few things we genuinely liked: the Stop Loss feature lets you automatically close a position if a contract price drops below a level you set, which is useful for managing downside on fast-moving markets. Price movement is also fluid on the most popular markets, meaning your orders fill cleanly without much slippage. Liquidity is thinner on niche or lower-profile markets, and that is where spreads can widen a bit, so it is worth bearing in mind when you venture off the main markets.

Crypto.com’s impressive security

The prediction market platform operates under regulation, making it one of a small number of federally licensed derivatives exchanges in the prediction market space. This means the platform is subject to strict financial oversight, transparent contract terms, and capped loss structures. Crypto.com was also a founding member of the Coalition for Prediction Markets alongside Kalshi, Robinhood, Coinbase, and Underdog, which was formed in December 2025 to advocate for federal-level oversight through the CFTC.

On the security side, the infrastructure backing this platform is the same that powers Crypto.com's broader exchange, including cold storage for digital assets, multi-factor authentication, and one of the largest insurance funds in the industry. For peace of mind, that setup is hard to argue with.

Sponsored by Crypto.com – Not investment advice. Trading prediction markets and crypto involves risk, including potential loss of your stake. Consider your risk tolerance before participating. Crypto.com connects U.S. users to CDNA (regulated by CFTC) for derivatives trading. CDNA membership required. Trading may not be suitable for all—you could lose your entire investment plus fees. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results. This is not a solicitation or recommendation to trade.

Fees: The parts you need to pay attention to

The app does not charge a trading fee, which sounds great. But Crypto.com fees  work on a spread model, meaning the price you buy at and the price you sell at are different, and that gap is how Crypto.com makes its money. For deposits, ACH bank transfers and wire transfers are free, though wires require a $1,000 minimum and take one to two business days. Debit card deposits carry a 1.49% fee, and PayPal charges 1.99%. ACH is the most practical option for regular use, though it can take up to three days for funds to become available for trading.

When trading, the platform uses a maker-taker fee model based on 30-day trading volume, with fees dropping to zero for high-volume traders. For most casual users, fees are modest, though the implicit cost to keep an eye on is the spread between buy and sell prices on less liquid markets.

Fiat withdrawals go back to your bank account and have been processed in under 12 hours in our testing, ahead of the platform's stated 24-hour estimate. Crypto withdrawals are typically instant unless network congestion slows things down.

Key features worth knowing about

The Crypto.com app features cover all verticals that the website does.To get started, here are a few key features you should know.

📈 Prediction markets across all major categories

The platform covers sports, politics, economics, crypto, culture, and climate, with thousands of markets in total. For Crypto.com sports markets, whether you want to trade on an NFL game, a Fed rate decision, a Bitcoin price level, or a pop culture outcome, there is something here for you.

🛡️ Stop loss orders

A built-in risk management tool that automatically triggers a sell order if your contract price falls below a threshold you define. This is a standout feature that most competing platforms do not offer, and it makes a real difference if you are managing multiple positions at once.

🔄 Buy and sell anytime

Unlike traditional prediction platforms where you hold until resolution, contracts here can be bought and sold at any point before a market closes. This adds a layer of flexibility that active traders will appreciate.

🚀 Level Up programme

The revamped Level Up programme is worth a look for anyone planning to use the platform regularly. It offers zero trading fees up to a monthly cap, a 4.5% yield on cash balances, and other perks depending on your tier. Subscriptions start at $4.99 per month and are worth running the numbers on if you trade frequently.

📱 Mobile app

The iOS and Android apps are well-built and carry all the same functionality as the desktop site. Navigation is clean, deposits and withdrawals work smoothly, and the live market data updates in real time without any obvious performance issues.

💳 Broad payment options

ACH, debit card, wire transfer, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are all supported. That is a wider range of deposit rails than most competing platforms offer, which makes getting money in and out considerably less painful.

Pros and cons of the Crypto.com prediction market app

Pros and Cons
Pros and Cons
  • Beginner friendly interface
  • Insurance fund
  • 24/7 customer support
  • High spread fees

Our final take on Crypto.com app

If you are looking to get into prediction markets and want a platform that is versatile, Crypto.com is genuinely one of the strong options available now. The CFTC backing gives it credibility, and the range of markets means you are not limited to just sports or just politics. You can follow your edge wherever it leads.

For casual users trading the headline markets, the costs are manageable and the experience is smooth. If you are planning to trade with any real frequency or size, the Level Up programme makes sense to look at, and keeping an eye on spreads in less popular markets will save you money over time. Our suggestion is to start with the main markets, get comfortable with how contracts work, and then explore the deeper catalogue from there. You can click the banners on this page to get started.
