Welcome to my CrownRips review, where I’ll give you the lowdown on my experience with this card rips app. Overall, I was impressed with the selection of card rips and the 100% withdrawable buyback offers.
What impressed me most, however, was that this card rips app gives you two genuine welcome offers. Firstly, you get a Free Pack worth $1 when you sign up. After that, you can grab one of two first-purchase offers within a limited time. For me, the best way to rip was using the 4.6-star-rated official iOS app.

Like the platform covered in my Unbox.gg review, CrownRips is a website and app where you can buy and rip digital mystery packs that contain real trading cards inside. Once you’ve ripped a pack, you can sell the card back for 100% of the fair market value (FMV) or ship it to your home address.
If you can’t decide what to do straight away, the site will securely vault the slab on your behalf for up to three days. Before I get into the gritty detail, here are some key facts about the brand:
| 📱 Card rips site and app: | CrownRips |
| 🎴 Products: | Digital card rips for sports, Pokémon, and more |
| 🇺🇲 Available in the US: | Yes ✅ |
| 🔞 Age limit: | 18+ |
| ❌ Excluded state(s): | Nevada |
Surprisingly few card rips sites offer a welcome promo to their new customers, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that this site offers two. The first CrownRips bonus that I got was a Free Pack worth $1 after creating my account.
After that, a countdown clock starts, during which time you have the chance to claim one of the two first purchase offers that I’ve included in the table below:
| 🏆 Free welcome offer: | Free Pack worth $1 |
| 💲First-purchase offer one: | $10 + $2 value pack for $9.99 |
| 💰 First-purchase offer two: | $20 + $10 value pack for $19.99 |
| 🎁 Promo code: | N/A |
Let me show you how easy it is to create your account on the CrownRips app or website:

Download - Download and install the app from the App Store or Google Play (optional, but I strongly recommend it).

Personal - Enter your personal details to make purchases available on your account.
To be eligible for a CrownRips account, you must be a US citizen or permanent resident aged 18 or older. The card rips app is available in 50 states, with Nevada being the only state where it is unavailable.
If I’m being totally honest, the CrownRips desktop website is a bit unusual, as they have quite clearly just put the mobile site on the desktop screen. This is pretty obvious as there are large, unused spaces on either side of the screen.
Despite the somewhat squashed design, the site looks good and is easy to use. However, as it’s a product clearly built for mobile, I recommend using the app or the mobile-optimized site. Check out my Slabz review if you’re looking for a ready-to-go desktop card rips site.
As you’ve probably already gathered, I loved the CrownRips mobile app, to the point I’d suggest only using it on mobile. The app has a simple design that’s built for one-thumb scrolling. You have the TGC rip categories at the top of the screen.
Additionally, there’s a menu bar at the bottom that contains icons you can tap to access the home screen, store, your account profile, and the vault. There’s also the promise of a collection feature coming soon.
You don’t have to take my word for it, as thousands of users on the App Store and Google Play have rated this app 4.6 and 4.4 stars, respectively. If you don’t have the memory space for the app, the mobile-optimized website looks and feels almost the same, with just a slight reduction in graphic quality.
CrownRips has two types of TGC rips: Pokémon and multisport. Regarding Pokémon, there are nine different categories, ranging from general Pokémon packs to vintage and PSA 10 rips. Within each category, there are several tiers, and prices range from $1 to $3,000.
For Multisports rips, there are six categories, including Rookie Cards and packs for specific sports, like football, baseball, and basketball. These packs start at $25 and range up to $3,000. For all packs, you have the option to adjust the “Thrill Level”, which basically means the volatility. There are three levels: Normal, High, and Max.
As was the case in my BigBux review, I was impressed with the transparency on CrownRips. Before you buy any pack, you can clearly see the distribution probabilities for each Thrill Level, alongside the minimum and maximum pull values. If you click the “Take a peek inside” button, you can view the wall of the chase cards, including the recent pulls.
Once you have purchased and ripped a pack, you will be given a binary choice:
You can add funds to your CrownRips balance in fixed amounts, starting at $4.99 and ranging up to $499.99. You will occasionally find deals where your deposit will get you extra account balance, including the two optional first-purchase deals. For example, if you deposit $49.99, you get $525 worth of credit.
You can make the deposit using any of these payment methods:

Your account balance is sorted into deposited funds and those that you receive from sellbacks, with only the latter being available for withdrawal. Your deposited funds are only to be spent on packs, which I think is fair enough.
There’s no minimum withdrawal limit, and you can take out up to $10,000 per day and $100,00 per year, which realistically are limits that very few of us will reach. I’ve listed the processing times for the two possible withdrawal options below, but just be aware that your first withdrawal requires verification, which can take up to 48 hours.
The customer service on this card rips app is available via an all-in-one widget that will pop up from the bottom of the screen when you click the “Contact Us” button. Within this widget, you can browse the help center, which I found very useful, and send messages to CrownRips. While the messaging option can sometimes be a bit slow, I always got responses that appeared to be human, rather than AI.

As in my Pick'em Ripping Packs review, I found a few interesting offers for existing users on this app:
At the end of the day, I think that CrownRips is an excellent card rips app. While there are some improvements that could be made, mainly the vaulting time limit and the desktop site design, the pros by far outweigh the cons. 100% cash buyback is tough to beat, and the welcome promotions are second-to-none.
Speaking of the welcome offer, you can sign up and claim your $1 Free Pack by clicking one of the promotional banners on this page. After that, you have 24 hours to grab one of the two optional first-purchase promotions.
