The next task is to choose your preferred collectible categories, and then you can either visit the marketplace, vending machine, or do what I did and head straight to the rewards page to see what was on offer.
The first thing I discovered is that all of these bonuses and benefits work around the points you gain for your activity here at Courtyard.io. Make a trade, rip a pack, or do pretty much anything, and you’ll get points for it. These rewards are all delivered in points, which you can then redeem for vouchers to use in the Marketplace or Vending Machine. Points do not expire for a year, so you can accrue them over weeks or even months before putting them towards a purchase, so knowing how to gain more every day can really make a difference to your experience.

After completing a task, the points are not automatically rewarded, so make sure you go back to the Quests tab to claim them manually. The size of your rewards will depend on how many other people you have referred, as the program is tiered and the higher your rank, the bigger the reward.
The users with the most points will feature on the leaderboard, with prizes for the top 100 places at the end of the month. This can boost your points tally even further, which can be useful if you decide to redeem points towards a purchase. In short, 5000 points equals $25, and you can choose to pay all or part of your purchase in points. Courtyard.io was also keen to point out there were other benefits available for the users at the top of the leaderboard, so knowing how to claim more points with these benefits just became even more important.
You can also use your points to buy entries to events. These are raffles for a variety of prizes like rare trading cards or comics, and you can typically buy tickets for 10-20 points each.
