If you’re looking for CopyBet reviews that will give you the unvarnished truth, you’re in the right place. We’re going to tell you everything you need to know about CopyBet, including how its unique ‘copy a tipster’ feature works.
What can you bet on at CopyBet? How does the feature work that allows you to simply copy the wagers of successful tipsters? How can you claim £50 in free bets when you sign up? At Strafe.com, we answer punter’s questions honestly, and we’re going to do the same for you here.
Copybet has a generous free bets welcome offer for new bettors. If you make £10 of bets at odds of 1.9 or greater, you can unlock £50 in free bets. This consists of five bets worth £10 each.
This offer is only open to new verified customers from the United Kingdom and ROI. The initial £10 bet must be placed on a single bet at odds of 1.9 or greater on an event that no other bet was placed on before.
Once you unlock your £50 of free bet credits, keep in mind that free bets are valid for 7 calendar days from the date they’re issued. The free bet is not withdrawable, and the offer applies to new UK and ROI customers only. The qualifying bet should be a single bet, start at £/€10, and have 1.9 or greater odds. The five free bets include one £10 free bet on horse racing, one £10 free bet on football, two x 10 free bets in-play, and one £10 free bet on Acca. How does this offer compare to others like the Rabona sign up offer? On the whole, it’s generous and fair when compared to what most other bookmakers are offering.
Each new CopyBet customer is eligible for a £5 free no deposit bet. You’ll need to sign up and verify your account to activate it, and you can use it to wager on any event within the featured promo.
The CopyBet no deposit offer will be issued within 24 hours. Remember that it can only be used on the sport/event specified in the latest promotion. The no deposit wager is not available for withdrawal, and the maximum amount you can win is £500.
CopyBet also offers weekly enhanced odds on select events. Check the promo tab for the latest boosted odds. If you’re not interested in this week’s offer, perhaps there’ll be something right for you the following week. Check back regularly for the latest deals.
The CopyBet website is easy and intuitive to navigate. You’ll see various options on the main menu; Tipsters, How It Works, Sportsbook, Services, Promo, and Blog. Here’s a quick breakdown of what we found in each section when doing our CopyBet reviews.
As we outlined in our Wazamba reviews, a well-designed, easy-to-use site is of crucial importance to whether or not we end up recommending a betting site. The CopyBet site is logically laid out, simple to navigate and use, and offers a hassle-free user experience on both desktop and mobile devices. The design is slick with a navy blue background and neon buttons that pop off the page. It’s easy on the eye, to say the least.
Let’s quickly run through how to place a bet on CopyBet. It’s a simple and easy process.
Just click the ‘Sportsbook’ tab on the main menu, click either the ‘pre-match’ or ‘in-play’ submenus to view your betting options, select a wager you want to make, and then enter your stake and confirm it on your digital bet slip. The entire process takes only a few seconds and as many clicks.
You'll be pleased to know that there's a CopyBet app for both Android and iOS devices, so no matter whether you have an iPhone or something different, you can place your bets and check out your winnings on the go!
When you want to deposit at CopyBet, you can use Skrill, Neteller, Visa, Mastercard, ApplePay, or GooglePay. The minimum deposit is always £10, and the maximum deposit per transaction ranges from £1,000 by bank card to £10,000 by e-wallets. There are no deposit fees; you’ll get exactly the amount you deposit.
When it comes time to make a withdrawal, you can use Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Apple pay, Google pay, and Neteller. The minimum withdrawal is £1, and the maximum is £1,000 per transaction. There are no extra withdrawal fees.
In the banking section, it’s also possible to transfer funds between accounts. For example, you can move funds from your sportsbook account to your CopyBet account to start automatically copying the bets on tipsters and vice versa.
Copybet reviews wouldn’t be complete without a consideration of the customer support options. To reach the customer support team, click the ‘support’ icon at the bottom of the screen. You’ll see a Zendesk client pop up when you do. Various common questions appear first with their related answers, but you can skip those and click the ‘leave us a message’ button instead.
We read mixed things about the customer support elsewhere, but our experience was decent. We left a message asking a question about a bonus and got a message back to our email account within an hour.
Note that you can also submit a message by clicking ‘send us a request’ in the FAQ section. This will bring up a contact form where you can leave a message for the support team. Alternatively, you can email info@copybet.com. We could not locate a contact number for this operator. As we said elsewhere, such as in our Pulsz reviews, we ideally like to see 24/7 support with fast responses.
A consideration of site safety is crucial to our CopyBet reviews. We want to know ‘Is CopyBet safe?’
CopyBet has a UK Gambling Commission licence to operate. Its licence number is 53774. It also works with the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) to resolve any disputes, which is always a good sign.
As far as security goes, this site operates on a secure HTTPS encrypted connection. It’s also fully compliant with GDPR, meaning it adheres to the strictest standards when it comes to how it collects and uses your personal data. It’s important that gambling operators protect potentially vulnerable players. CopyBet asks you to verify your account before making real money wagers, meaning underage gamblers won’t be able to place wagers. You’ll also find links to GamStop, GamCare, and BeGambleAware.org on the site.
There’s a lot to think about before answering that question conclusively. We consider the licenses an operator has, how it treats existing players, how competitive its odds are, whether the terms of use give you a fair deal, and much more. This CopyBet review answers all of these questions and more.
Read our full review to find how long it will take you to withdraw your winnings from CopyBet. It will depend to some degree on what payment method you use. Find out what your various options are and how fast you can expect to get your cash here.
We’ve answered that question in full in our CopyBet reviews. We not only explain whether it is legal or not, but we explain how we know. There are very clear and easy-to-spot signs when determining if an online betting site is legal or not. Find out more inside.
For an explanation of the unique CopyBet feature, which allows you to place wagers automatically with top tipsters, read our full review here. We explain how the feature works and everything else you might want to know about this sports betting site.
You can bet on 35 sports at CopyBet, including football, rugby, tennis, golf, other sports like baseball and basketball, and many more. Niche sports that not everyone pays attention to are also included; you can bet on things like handball, chess, and speedway alongside the major ones. We didn’t see a CopyBet esports section, though, which would be a valuable addition. If it’s added in the future, we’ll make sure to update our esports betting reviews to include CopyBet.
There are lots of events to bet on; e.g., when we conducted this review, there were over 500 football events to wager on. You can browse the current and upcoming events using a calendar feature. You can also search for events within the timeframes ranging from an hour to 72 hours from now. These are the kind of extras we like to see in our CopyBet reviews.
We checked the CopyBet odds against some of its competitors. We found better odds elsewhere for some events and better odds on CopyBet for some events. That’s the way it is for most operators. It means you’ll find reasonably competitive odds on most events on this site. You can also find enhanced odds under the ‘promo’ tab on the menu. CopyBet boosts odds on specific events every week.
You can quickly and easily change the format of the odds if you wish. CopyBet offers them in fractional, decimal, American, Hong Kong, Malay, and Indo. You’ll see these options on a dropdown menu on the top menu in the sportsbook.
We didn’t find any live streaming at CopyBet. However, there are lots of live/in-play betting action to be had. Click the ‘in-play’ tab in the sportsbook to see all of the currently unfolding action. Click on any event to see all of the in-play wagers you can make. For football events, these include things like Double Chance, Draw No Bet, 1st Goal to Score, and more.
Placing an in-play bet is just as easy as placing a pre-match one. Click the outcome you want to wager on, enter the amount you want to wager on your bet slip, and confirm the bet. Of course, given that it’s not offered, there’s no live esports betting. If you’re dead-set on that, check out Evobet esports for information on betting on all sorts of tournaments like LoL, CS:GO, and more.
Thorough CopyBet reviews should tell you exactly how much you can bet. The minimum amount you can bet on any event or outcome is a standard small unit. The maximum bet in any category is more substantial. The maximum payout in any category is also the same as this. It’s probably not wise to make a large bet knowing that the most you can win is the same amount back if you win.
We looked around for information on whether CopyBet places restrictions on accounts quickly as some other operators do. No existing punters reported that, but CopyBet does say it reserves the right to apply account restrictions in certain cases, such as when suspicious betting activity is detected.
CopyBet offers real money action on every major sport as well as some niche ones. If there’s an event worth betting on, you can almost certainly bet on it with competitive odds here. The most interesting feature of this site is the ability to simply copy the bets of successful tipsters. That’s a unique feature you won’t see on every site, and it takes a lot of the pain out of deciding what to bet on.
Does CopyBet have any weaknesses? We feel the customer support could be faster, and something like a live chat feature or hotline should be available around the clock. Aside from that, we think this is a top-notch sports betting site, and it’s well worth investigating further. The CopyBet sportsbook gets the thumbs up from Strafe.com.
On the whole, we have to give CopyBet the green light. While there are a few areas for improvement, such as providing 24/7 live customer support, there’s nothing major to worry about, and with competitive odds, a generous welcome offer, and plenty of action to bet on, our CopyBet reviews conclude that it’s well worth your time to sign up.
If that isn’t enough to convince you to check this site out, consider that this site has something totally unique; the ability to simply kick back and copy the bets of successful tipsters. You’ll pay them a small commission for the privilege, but if you don’t know what to bet on or believe that some people simply have the gift, then this feature will be right up your street! Who knows - maybe in time, you can become a tipster yourself and earn commissions on people copying your own bets? There’s only one way to find out; give CopyBet a shot.
