What is Collectibles, and how does it work?

Before I take you through the findings of my Collectibles review, let's first have a look at how the platform works. This site lets you scan, value, and catalog physical or virtual items. These span various categories, including action figures, comics, sports cards, trading card games, coins, and more.

In addition to storing items, you can also purchase Repackz and sell them. These Repackz are Collectibles Mystery Boxes that contain real trading cards with real value, and these can be added to your digital collection after purchase. You can ship your trading cards anytime you want, or leverage the 90% buyback option if you don't like what is in them.

Usability and design - The Collectibles site is easy to navigate

Collectibles has gone for a simple design that reminds me of X. It gives the impression of a social media site rather than a platform for trading in Repackz, which is a great sign. It took me less than 5 minutes to register for an account during my Collectibles review, which instantly let me know I was in for a swell time on the platform. I only had to enter my preferred email and password before choosing a username.

Navigating the platform is straightforward thanks to links spread across the site. At the top of the page are links to the Repackz section, the rewards page, and your available collection. On the left is a link to your wallet and a chat feature where you can interact with the community. I also spotted a notifications button right beside it, which helps you stay updated on recent happenings in your account.

You'll be spending a lot of time on the Repackz page, since this is where you will find the Collectibles Mystery Boxes. I checked it out and loved how everything was structured. The Online Mystery Boxes were split into categories such as baseball, football, basketball, Pokémon, and MMA.

To make things even easier, there's a section for trending packs, elite packs, and pro packs that make it easier to find your preferred collectible. Overall, everything is well done, and I had no issue navigating the site.

I spotted a Collectibles app for iOS and Android that lets you collect Mystery Boxes on the go. This differs from what I discovered during my ClutchPacks review, as the operator did not offer an app, making Collectibles a better option.

I tested out the app and was still able to access the same benefits as the PC version. This is not surprising, given its 4.5- and 4.6-star ratings on Google Play and the App Store, respectively.

Purchasing Repackz and trading at Collectibles

Making payments on the Collectibles platform was straightforward and caused no issues. The operator is primarily a crypto platform that lets you purchase Repackz with digital currencies. I was able to fund my account by sending USDC on Solana, as it is the only supported option.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click on the wallet icon on the top right of the page

2. Hit the "Top Up" button

3. Tick the box to confirm that you are sending USDC on Solana only

4. Scan the QR code or copy the wallet address

5. Paste it into your wallet along with the amount you want to fund

6. Click "Confirm," and wait for a few seconds for it to reflect

However, if you want to upgrade plans on the site or make other payments, you also have the option to use credit cards and online bank transfers. Better still, you can use the XP in your internal bonus balance to purchase Repackz, which is, in my opinion, the easiest option.

Making trades at Collectibles

One of the most important features of this platform is that you can trade any of your Repackz if you don't like the rewards in it. You can either use the buyback option to sell it, and you must accept this offer within 7 days of opening the Mystery Box.

If you do, you'll be instantly refunded 90% of the original value of the Repackz. The Mystery Box, on the other hand, will be added back to the pool and can be purchased by another user.

This is also very easy, following these steps:

1. Head to the Repackz tab

2. Navigate to the "My Packs" section

3. Head to the "Opened Packs" before selecting the card you want to sell

4. Hit the "Sell instantly" button to accept the offer

5. You'll receive 90% of the value in your account

To withdraw funds instead of using them to purchase Repackz, you can do so via a variety of options depending on your region. The operator does this in collaboration with Coinflow, and users in the United States can choose from ACH transfers and Push-to-card.

Help is easily accessible at Collectibles.com

I had a few questions during my Collectibles review and immediately checked out the support channels. While I could not find a 24/7 live chat option as I did in my MrLoot review, the operator still offered many other outlets. I spotted an AI bot that answers questions using information on the help page, which is quite efficient. I'll also recommend it if you don't want to spend time manually sifting through different answers.

Since the help page covers important questions, including your account management, Repackz, withdrawals, and more, it is a great place to start your quest for help. If you prefer, reach out to the customer support team by email, but this will take a couple of hours, so it is not the best option for swift answers.

There's also an active community where you can interact with like-minded people and perhaps get answers to your burning questions. Overall, I have no complaints with this section.

Is Collectibles legit?

Yes, Collectibles is a legal platform, depending on where you are visiting from. First off, it is based on chance and involves the purchase and sale of collectibles or repacks, neither of which constitutes illegal online activity. There’s also zero risk of losing your funds here. You always receive an item after a purchase, even if it is of no value. This is similar to what I discovered during my Cravin review, which makes them more like retail sites, which are not illegal.

Conclusion: Should you purchase Collectibles Mystery boxes?

Well, this depends. If you want a platform that lets you collect rare cards across numerous categories, then Collectibles.com is your best bet. I also liked that it offers price scanning, cataloging, and a marketplace for trading cards all in one place. The Repackz are typically worth it, with many valued as low as $25. While the content varies and is purely based on chance, I had a good experience with the Repackz I purchased, with some offering even more value. And if you don't like what it contains, the buyback option can refund you with up to 90% of the purchase price.
