Clash.gg is a CS2 case-opening site built by a CS:GO player known as Hobbes, and is run by Rust Clash Entertainment Limited out of Cyprus. The site is designed for players who already understand how CS2 skins work, rather than a general mystery box site. All you need to do is pick a case, check its drop probability and displayed value, run the draw and the result will go straight into your balance.

From there you can open more cases or choose a specific skin from the on-site store. Clash.gg runs on two virtual currencies of Gold Coins (GC) for non-redeemable social play and Gems, which is the sweepstakes virtual currency and gives you entries to case openings and other prize-based games.

The prices range from 1 Gem to over 40,000 Gems

Budget cases start for less than 1 Gem and can include skins like the AK-47 Slate and Glock 18 Vogue, whilst the higher-end legendary cases can cost up to 40,000+ Gems. The higher-end cases feature rare items like AWP Dragon Lore, Karambit Fade and Butterfly Knife Doppler, with some of those skins being valued over $10,000 on the market.

I mostly picked the mid-range cases where the drop tables had skins like the AK-47 Vulcan, Desert Eagle Blaze and AWP Man o War, because it gave me a realistic chance at pulling one compared to the rarer cases. You'll also find legacy CS:GO skins alongside newer CS2 collections, including the original Weapon Case and its Karambit and M9 Bayonet families.

How Case Battles work

Clash.gg has a fun feature called Case Battles, which are team battles instead of solo openings. You can watch your draw land alongside a teammate against two opponents for a competitive feel that solo cases can't match.

There's also "Crazy" mode, where the lowest total wins instead of the highest, which will make you rethink the probabilities in those drop tables. The formats run from 1v1 up to 6-player options, including terminal mode and jackpot mode.

What I drew from the welcome cases

I pulled two Sand Sprays and a Drought, which is what the probability table predicts for about 95% of the openings. So the value of the welcome offer is more about getting a feel for the site and opening cases rather than expecting a higher-end draw.

Desktop is clearer, but mobile still works well

I first signed up to Clash.gg on desktop because it's slightly easier to see the huge catalog. But after a few sessions, I moved over to playing on mobile.

Desktop makes odds and demo cases easier to compare

It's undoubtedly easier spending extended sessions on Clash.gg on desktop because the probability table is clearer, making it simpler to compare drop distributions across similar prize points. Before choosing them, there's also a demo mode available where you can preview the variants and get a feel for how the reveal animations work. Demo mode is a great choice for anyone who's unfamiliar with CS2 skins, because Clash.gg does assume you have a fair bit of knowledge before reading the drop table, and the value of the skins isn't explained that well on the site itself.

Mobile works without an app, but extra scrolling is needed

There's no native Clash.gg app available, but opening cases on mobile works just as well as the desktop version. Like I said, the only major difference between the two is that the drop tables are a little easier to read, because more content on the page means more scrolling on your phone. I was able to complete everything from opening a case to switching between virtual currencies without feeling like I needed to go back to the desktop version though.

Steam deposits and flexible redemptions are standout features

The biggest advantage Clash.gg has over general mystery box sites for CS2 players is that you can deposit the skins you already own through Steam, and you can send over a few skins from your inventory before even making the purchase.

Steam deposits take minutes if your authenticator is ready

It only took a few minutes to deposit a skin through Steam, but I needed my Steam mobile authenticator to process it. Clash.gg has a requirement that the authenticator needs to have been active for at least 15 days, so you'll have to wait if you've only just set up a new Steam account. Beyond depositing skins, the deposit methods for GC are cards, Kinguin, G2A gift cards, Trustly, Neteller, Sofort, WeChat and a huge crypto list with BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, TRX, SOL, USDC, XRP, DOGE and many more.

Turning case winnings into skins you want

After you've pulled a case, the result will go into your Clash.gg balance rather than your Steam inventory. It can initially feel like an extra step, but it means you can browse available skins and pick exactly what you want rather than being stuck with whatever the draw produces. Eligible Gem winnings can also be redeemed for the value of the skin, crypto or additional Gems after meeting the relevant redemption requirements. Discord support answered my question almost immediately

The support options at Clash.gg include live chat, email support at support@clash.gg, a phone number and support through Discord. I wanted to find out if two promo codes could be used together, so I sent a question through the Discord channel and received a response almost immediately. I'd recommend joining the Clash.gg Discord server because it gives you access to questions and answers from other users and moderators in the community channel as part of your onboarding. It essentially acts as a live FAQ section.

Provably fair checks let you verify every draw

The safety and transparency of Clash.gg is one of the main reasons I kept coming back to it on a daily basis. The site also gives you tools to verify your own results by locking a server seed through SHA-256 hash before the draw, combined with the client seed and third-party randomness. It publishes the data so you can verify it after opening. I went back and checked a few of my results to confirm that each one matched, and because the outcome locks when the animation begins, your draw won't be affected if your connection drops out halfway through.

Higher levels unlock better cases

I kept checking the rewards section between sessions and noticed that the missions and daily cases kept refreshing frequently with new objectives.

Spending GC and Gems moves your account beyond Level 1

Every new account starts at Level 1 with progress from Gold Coins and Gems spent on cases taking you higher up the ranks. You can gradually open more daily cases, access Gem-awarding missions, user challenges, tiered rakeback and Rain distributions every 30 minutes. Rain is a pool of Gems funded by a percentage of play across the site that's distributed in the chat. A 1,000 Gold Coin GC faucet kicks in when your free play balance runs out, and from Level 30 you can loan Gems, adding a unique trading feature to the site.

Daily, weekly and monthly rakeback returns Gems

The rakeback works on three tiers including daily, weekly, and monthly, with each one returning a percentage of the house edge back to you as Gems that you can use on any game mode. The daily cases reset every 24 hours and improve as you go up the levels, so the drops get better the more active you are on the site.
