WardiTV Summer Championship – SC2 elite battling out

Another great SC2 tournament is only days from beginning and players from all over the world are coming to battle. With 24 players, some invited, some yet to qualify, this tournament will bring a lot of action.

Brief intro about the tournament

Once the qualifiers are over, we will have 24 players from all over the world trying to win the throne. This tournament features a unique format with 2 group stages where players will be dividing to play against each other. In both group stages, the main format will be Dual Tournament Format, where only top 2 players will go into the next stage. The same goes for the Group Stage 2 part of the tournament as well. This brings us to the conclusion that there will be a lot of matches to bet on, especially in this part of the tournament.

Next, we have a classic Playoff stage where advanced players will face each other in a double-elimination bracket. In that light, Starcraft 2 betting was never this exciting with so many great betting sites to put your bet on. Matches will be Bo5 in the Playoffs stage and the finals will be played in Bo7 matches. Who’s the big dog?

Considering the fact that there are 14 players that are already qualified through the Spring Standings, Spring KR Regionals, and Spring EU Regionals, we’re set for a very versatile tournament. It’s certain that most matches will be played with a lot of enthusiasm and motivation since most players have a lot to prove. For example, an old-school legend player from KR named Rouge will attend this tournament and he is one of the best players here. It seems he's been experimenting lately with the Zerg rush tactics which is a great thing if he’s facing lower-ranked players. However, he can always switch to the meta tactics if he faces a decent opponent.

Apart from Rouge, another great player to bet on surely is Reynor. He is coming from Italy with a lot of new and fresh tactics that can easily work against KR players. This is because Reynor is not relying on his micro, but he is rather using tactics and movement advantage to get better position and strike his opponents when they are weak. Therefore, betting on Reynor is definitely worth considering, especially if he lands in a group with lots of Protoss players.

Who’s the underdog?

As for the underdogs, there are some really interesting names so far. For example, SpeCial is listed as the invited player. This guy is quite strong with his Terran race. He uses a lot of advantages this race can offer to keep his opponents on their toes. So, if you’re looking to get in on the action, he is clearly a good option to bet on, especially if he plays against EU players. However, if he faces a bit more experienced KR player, his odds will shrink to bits as they can easily out-skill and out-maneuver him.

On top of that, a worthy player to consider betting on surely is Spirit. This guy comes from Poland and is very talented when it comes to defending against Zergs. So, if Spirit lands in a group with a lot of Zergs, make sure to bet on him, especially if the players are coming from the KR.
