Looking4Org steps right over Virtus.Pro to get to the Semi-Finals stage on Thunderpick World Championship 2023 Europe Series 1. Let’s take a look at some stats for this game to see where VP fumbled against the French.

CS: GO Event

The Game

The game was played as a Bo3, but Looking4Org got to go home a bit earlier after winning the first two maps.

Map Picks

The maps picked for this series were Vertigo (picked by Looking4Org), Overpass (picked by Virtus.Pro, and Anubis would be the decider – which as you may already know, was not needed.

Vertigo

Vertigo was a very close map, that’s for sure. The first half was dominated by Virtus.Pro – playing on the T side – ending in a 10x5. Despite the lead, Looking4Org made a great comeback in the second half, which also ended in a 10x5 – meaning that the map went to overtime.

In overtime, a lot of rounds were traded but, as it turned out, Looking4Org managed to close out the map on the second overtime which a score of 22x20.

Overpass

Believe it or not, Overpass followed exactly the same route as Vertigo. The only difference is that Looking4Org started off in the lead with a 10x5 in the first half and Virtus.Pro returned the 10x5 in the second half to bring the map to another overtime.

Again, rounds were traded but Virtus.Pro ended up losing the series after a 19x17. Despite the loss, we have to mention that Jame made gave his all and ended up as the best player in the server – unfortunately, in vain…
