Hello Valorant fans. A new update is here, and it’s arguably the biggest. It’s the Patch note 13.00, which launches Season 2026 Act 4. It delivers key updates that would make your gaming sessions even more entertaining.
The Season 2026 Act 4 launch introduces significant buffs across the entire Sentinel class as well as signature cooldown reductions for six Initiators. It also launches a brand-new Summit map with droppable walls, a new inbox system, and Rank Rating (RR) recalculations. There are a lot of updates in this new patch note. Let’s share the details on this page.
There are a few features that players and top Valorant betting sites are buzzing about the most. They include the new game map (Summit) as well as Sentinel and Initiator buffs. Let’s review each below.
Summit is a new 5v5 Spike mode map set in a Radiant training academy that’s located in the mountains of China. Players will have to battle through training halls and meditation gardens, where they can drop walls mid-round to give them an advantage over opponents.
This new map has been added to the Competitive and Deathmatch map rotation, encouraging players to learn it. Interestingly, Riot is providing temporary ranked protection. RR losses on Summit will be reduced by 50% for the first two weeks, but you’ll still receive 100% of RR for your victories.
As you’re aware, Sentinels play an important role in the Valorant tactical loop by providing defensive attributes to the teams. So, if you enjoy being a Sentinel agent, you’ll love the Patch Note 13.00. Here are the updates made:
| Sentinel agents | Updated buffs |
|---|---|
| Cypher | Trapwire windup reduced from 0.9s to 0.7s. |
| Killjoy | Turret fire rate increased by 50% Nanoswarm duration increased from 4s to 5s Alarmbot movement speed increased by 50% |
| Veto | Interceptor reclaim cooldown reduced from 30s to 20s The crosscut usable area increased from 24m to 30m Crosscut arming time halved from 1.5s to 0.75s |
| Sage | Self heal over-time doubled from 50 HP to 100 HP |
| Deadlock | GravNet cooldown from 60s to 50s |
Initiators (characters who start fights and help push the team into enemy territory) are not left out in this update. The Patch note 13.00 addresses the following buffs:
The Valorant patch notes 13.00 include a few key updates. First is Retake, a fast 3v3 Spike mode. Here, the Spike is already planted when the round starts. Then, one team holds while the other coordinates the retake before a timer runs out. Both teams swap sides every round, and the first team to win 5 rounds wins the match.
The Inbox is now live in the Valorant client. This gives you a place to revisit curated and non-urgent notifications. You can see which messages are new or read, or delete items to keep things tidy. You’ll receive gifting updates, promotional updates, and RR refund notifications.
There’s also good news for ranked grinders. The game has adjusted RR calculations so that players who win matches, particularly at Immortal and above, feel less stuck in their climb.
There are also changes to matchmaking to ensure the average rank of each team is within the same tier. For instance, if your team’s average rank is Gold 2, the other team’s average rank will be within Gold 1-3. As always, several bug fixes have been made to ensure you have an entertaining gaming experience.
Valorant Patch 13.00 provides an incremental update that feels fresh and exciting. The new Summit map looks exciting. Sentinels and Initiators receive improved updates, and there’s an inbox to receive important messages about the game.
