Riot Games built up plenty of hype around their new character, by giving us our first glimpse of him in the Season 2025 Act 1 trailer. They followed this up with another video showing 1 minute 45 seconds of actual gameplay that included Tejo (Agent 27).

When will Tejo Agent 27 be available?
Tejo, the 27th playable agent in Valorant, is already available. He was added to the game in Season 2025 Act 1, which was released on January 8 in Brazil and the Asia Pacific region, and on January 9 in Europe, India, and Japan. He was available to unlock immediately after the release of the new season.

How do you unlock this
new agent in Valorant?
There are two ways that you can unlock Agent 27 (Tejo) in Valorant Season 25 Act 1:
- Immediate unlock:
You can buy him straight away for 1,000 XP.
- Agent Recruitment Event:
If you don’t want to spend XP, you can complete this AR event by collecting 20,000 XP. This particular AR event is only available for a limited time, so make sure to enter before it's gone if you want to unlock Tejo this way.
- Kingdom Credits:
Further down the line, when the Agent Recruitment Event is no longer available, you will be able to unlock Tejo for free with 8,000 Kingdom Credits.
What is Agent 27’s role?
Tejo has come into the game as an Initiator, making him the 7th Initiator Agent in total. The other Initiators are; Gekko, Sova, Breach, Skye, KAY/O, and Fade. He is an intelligence agent, which will make perfect sense when we tell you about his four abilitiesshortly.
What nationality is Tejo?
As you may have guessed from the name, Tejo is from Latin America, more specifically, he’s Colombian. This makes him the third LATAM agent after Reyna (Mexico) and Raze (Brazil).
In terms of aesthetics, Tejo is broad-shouldered with a body-builder physique and a strong jaw. He has a small French-style moustache, golden shades and a full head of black hair with a silver quiff at the front. He comes wearing an open sand-coloured jacket, a brown low-cut singlet, and denim jeans.

What abilities does Tejo have?
An agent’s abilities are the features which have the biggest material impact on your gameplay. No doubt it’s this part that many of you are most excited about, so let’s take a look at Tejo’s abilities:
Ultimate and Signature Abilities
- Armageddon (Ultimate Ability):
With Tejo’s ultimate ability, you can launch a targeted strike attack across a selected pathway in a map. Once you are locked in and fire, a line of consecutive explosions will occur across the path you have selected.
- Guided Salvo (Signature Ability):
You can choose one or two target locations on a map and launch auto-navigation missiles that will explode when they reach their target(s).
Other abilities
- Stealth Drone:
Tejo can equip and cast this drone before taking complete control of its movements. The drone is invisible, even at long range, so you can use it to gather intel from your enemies without the risk of it being destroyed.
- Special Delivery:
Once armed, this grenade will stick to the first thing that it lands on and then explode. Alternatively, you can activate a feature so it will explode after one bounce instead.
