Riot Games built up plenty of hype around their new character, by giving us our first glimpse of him in the Season 2025 Act 1 trailer. They followed this up with another video showing 1 minute 45 seconds of actual gameplay that included Tejo (Agent 27).
However, Season 2025 Act 1 has since been released, and Tejo has officially hit our screens as a playable agent. With that in mind, we’ll leave no stone unturned as we look at the appearance, nationality, and abilities of this latest Valorant agent.

Tejo, the 27th playable agent in Valorant, is already available. He was added to the game in Season 2025 Act 1, which was released on January 8 in Brazil and the Asia Pacific region, and on January 9 in Europe, India, and Japan. He was available to unlock immediately after the release of the new season.

There are two ways that you can unlock Agent 27 (Tejo) in Valorant Season 25 Act 1:
Tejo has come into the game as an Initiator, making him the 7th Initiator Agent in total. The other Initiators are; Gekko, Sova, Breach, Skye, KAY/O, and Fade. He is an intelligence agent, which will make perfect sense when we tell you about his four abilitiesshortly.
As you may have guessed from the name, Tejo is from Latin America, more specifically, he’s Colombian. This makes him the third LATAM agent after Reyna (Mexico) and Raze (Brazil).
In terms of aesthetics, Tejo is broad-shouldered with a body-builder physique and a strong jaw. He has a small French-style moustache, golden shades and a full head of black hair with a silver quiff at the front. He comes wearing an open sand-coloured jacket, a brown low-cut singlet, and denim jeans.
