New York. We may disagree with each other about a lot here in the Big Apple, but one thing we will always agree on is our love for sports. Sports is what keeps our cultures tied together, whether it’s football, basketball, or baseball.
We love sports here, and with sports betting finally legal in New York state, we have some great opportunities to back our favorite teams. Here are some of the best betting tips you can take on your favorite homegrown sports teams.
The Giants didn’t have a great Super Bowl season this year. They ended up in the bottom of their conference, NFC East, which has always been a statistically weak conference.
However, hope will always remain for the Giants, as they look ahead to putting their new signings and draftees like Kyle Rudolph and Kenny Golladay.
The current odds on the Giants to pick up the Super Bowl next year is 65/1 (+6500) Some sportsbooks even have the Giants at +7000, so you could be picking up a huge paycheck if you were to lay down $10 next year! Always have faith in the Giants!
The Jets, unfortunately, did not fare much better in this year's Super Bowl too. They finished at the bottom of their conference, the AFC East, which did have some strong competitors in there.
With the Buffalo Bills and the Patriots both in that conference, the Jets were never going to do well. Due to a slight difference in performance, the Giants have better odds than the Jets do this year.
At the moment, the standard odds are +7500 for the Jets to win next year's Super Bowl. The Jets are also beginning their rebuilding process by completely restructuring their offensive line, so we hope that makes the difference coming into next year's season.
Coming off a middle-of-the-road performance in last year's season, the Mets have come to a crossroads coming into this year's season.
Their new star signing Seiya Suzuki will hopefully be the player that turns things around for the team, and with a solid structure already, we believe Suzuki could be the difference-maker for the team going into this year's season in the winter. The odds for the Mets to win the World Series are currently +1000
The Yankees are struggling to perform when it matters. They breeze right through the opening rounds and quickly expose the weaker teams, but once they head up against a strong team like the Red Sox, they falter.
All the same, if the Yankees bid to get better players in the first base, that could be the difference-maker. The odds for the Yankees to win the World Series are currently +900.
Last year, the Knicks finally returned to the playoffs, a bid many exasperated Knicks fans would never happen.
Unfortunately, they still fell short of a strong Atlanta Hawks side. Still, the Knicks have a strong squad at the moment, and with a new addition in Kemba Walker, that could be the difference-maker for the side if they put it all together. The odds on the Knicks to win the World Championship are +20000.
