With not long to go until the finals of this epic tournament, we’re about to find out what’s been unfolding and what’s potentially around the corner in our Six Invitational 2022 preview. There’s been all kinds of exciting drama so far, it’s only going to get better as the best of the best compete for the top spot.
But first, a little info on the tournament itself. Six Invitational 2022 is a professional ‘invite-only’ Rainbow Six Siege tournament held every year. It’s actually based in Montreal Canada, the home of the developers of the game itself, Ubisoft (except this year it’s taking place in Stockholm, Sweden). That makes it a little more sacred for the players and the fans.
This year, the tournament runs from Tuesday 8th February through Sunday 20th February which means we’re right in the thick of it at the time of writing. The opening four days saw the group stages, then we took a couple of days’ break. Now, we’re coming towards the end of the play-offs and there’s all to play for.
So, stay with us as we find out who are the best bets for the finals based on how they’ve been playing so far, and find out where the best bookmakers to place those bets are.
Since the beginning of the tournament, LA-based team FaZe Clan has been the favorite for that spectacular overall prize pool of $1,000,000 that’s awarded to the overall winners of the tournament. Right now, they’re well on track to win having reached the lower-bracket semi-final.
FaZe Clan’s are up against Soniqs in their next game, but it’s not over before it starts. Bet365 currently has FaZe Clan at odds of 8/15 to win vs the 11/8 being offered to Soniqs, and that’s pretty close. Anything could happen, but we’ll still be putting our money on FaZe Clan to win this match and the grand final coming up this Sunday.
That being said, they will have a task on their hands. Because on the other leg of the play-offs are a couple of very strong teams. First, they’ll have to face either Team Liquid or MIBR, depending on who wins the other semi-final for this bracket. Next, they’ll need to face the winner of the lower-bracket final. Let’s find out who that could be.

Our Six Invitational 2022 tournament preview prediction is that the final will take place between FaZe Clan and Team Empire. Right now, Team Empire only has one team to beat to get to that position: TSM. But who are these teams?
Team Empire is one of the best Rainbow Six teams in Russia right now. Established in Moscow in 2004, these guys have gone on to become very notorious and at the start of the tournament through till today, they’ve been considered one of the favorites.
In fact, right now, they’re second favorites to win the tournament. So, if you’re looking for an outsider bet, this could be the one to go for. The current odds for them to beat North American eSports team TSM in the upper-bracket final are 4/7 vs the 5/4 offered to TSM, so there really isn’t much in it at all. It’s going to be a very exciting match, mark our words!
If they do get past TSM, like we think they will (just about), they’ll probably be up against FaZe Clan. And at that point, things are going to be very exciting indeed.
Who’d have thought things would have been so close? As we all know, a lot of eSports teams run away with things sometimes in eSports tournaments but this year things have been very tough to predict. It’s so tricky to call one way or another who’s actually going to win this, but overall, our money is on FaZe Clan. Their form just seems to be unstoppable.
That being said, Team Empire will almost definitely give them a run for their money if they do end up fighting in the final. All we know is that we can’t wait to sit down and watch that match. Bring on Sunday!
